Hurricane Juel's Restaurant is back open after a brief closure, with a new menu and management. Despite the changes, the restaurant still serves excellent food, including fantastic burgers, delicious shrimp and grits, and some of the best grouper. The service is top-notch, with kind and attentive servers who offer helpful suggestions, though it can sometimes be slow. The atmosphere is lively, with live music on special occasions and a laid-back vibe perfect for relaxing after a beach day. The dining area is very large and spacious, with multiple places to eat and a beer garden. Guests enjoy great happy hour prices and awesome views. The parking lot attendant, a familiar face from the original ownership, is still there and deserves a tip for his dedicated service. While the restaurant can get loud, it remains a go-to spot for locals and visitors alike.
