“First off. The food is fantastic. The chips and salsa are very good too! The service was extremely friendly, but very slow. The restaurant had some disrepair, stain on ceiling, etc. But overall, really enjoyed and recommend them if your in Little River.“

“My first time here and I’m impressed. The young guy at the counter was genuinely sweet and had no problem answering any questions I had. My first time trying authentic Mexican food. I ordered a chicken and steak Gordita. Everything was made from scratch and you can tell that love and effort was put into it. Will be returning to try out other dishes.“

“Start off by saying the food and customer service here has always been amazing we drive 30min each time we come sometimes 2xs a week, but this is now the 3rd time we have shown up during scheduled business hours and they are closed ( no post on fb or Google saying anything but them being open) I suggest to CALL before hand even if they are supposed to be open (Saturday at 1245pm)“

“I was blown away by the great service and delicious food. We liked it so much that we went twice in 3 days! The staff was exceptional and they cheerfully modified our entrees to be vegan. The manager even checked-in with us and we praised and complimented the staff. They even have a robot bring the food out (with the servers) which is innovative and fun. Good food, amazing service, they deserve this 5-star rating AND your business.Vegetarian options: They modified the street tacos for me to have black beans instead of meat. They were perfect!“

“Sat outside on the back deck overlooking the marsh for lunch. They had some nice live music from a duo. The waitress got both of our orders wrong but the food was still good.Elliott SerralPreferred RealtorNorth Myrtle Beach Area843-353-HOMEYouTube @MyrtleBeachArea“

“I don't write reviews often, but when I do... It's because the place deserves it. La Promesa is an authentic hole in the wall. Although the seating is a bit cramped, the service is excellent, and the food is as good as you'll find. I worked in San Salvador as a consultant and the papusas (cheese and mixed) here are absolutely incredible. Horchata was great too. If you've never tried hand-formed, cheese filled, skillet-fried masa, you don't know what you're missing. Seriously, try the papusas!“
“Everything I ordered has been good. Except the hrs. Most people in this area don't get home until 5pm or 6. By then they are closed or closingVegetarian options: I am not "Vegetarian" ,and not really sure what they eat. I mean they serve good rice and beans . If you look at there menu it's not hard to ask them to hold the beef/pork and substitute them/it.Parking: I mean there's a paved lotWheelchair accessibility: Yes there's a ramp...“

“We really enjoyed our visit to Nacho Hippo. We ordered the triple crown sampler and the sloppy burrito (one in a tortilla and one in a bowl). Go hungry or be prepared to take home leftovers. Everything was great. Our waitress was extra nice. If we visit North Myrtle Beach again, we’ll be sure to stop here!“

“I have been in Myrtle Beach for a whole month, and this is the first time I have been able to enjoy authentic Mexican food! The Carne Asada, delicious! The carnitas, amazing! The Pollo Torta, a blessing! Then to top it off, I got to enjoy an Agua de Pina! I will be back!To preface, I'm from Houston, and went to college in El Paso. I know my authentic Mexican foods and tastes!“

“LOVED their homemade chips and salsa, as well as the delicious cheese dip! I had the special St. Patty's margarita, which was very refreshing...not too sweet and very tasty. The chimichanga entree was excellent. The shredded beef was tender, the tortilla was fried perfectly, and the rice and beans were very good. Sopapillas rounded out the meal with its sweet, crispy, cinnamon sugar drizzled with chocolate syrup and topped with whipped cream and a cherry. I was full and very satisfied!“

“They will serve you a buffet style, authentic Mexican cuisine. The prices are very reasonable at $10. The dining tables are a little shaky. Our hostess was very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend the pupusas. There's also tajin seasoning on the tables.Vegetarian options: Rice, black beans, slaw, fresh pineapple. Homemade corn tortillas.“
