As usual the food and service were excellent. This is our go to place for out of town guests and they always request to go back.

This was our 2nd visit to Parsons. The first time it was wonderful, this time was definitely not up to our expectations. I will say my appetizer Oyster Rockefeller was good, maybe a bit over cooked but the flavor was on point. Hubby has the grilled Shrimp app it was good. So the issue was that we arrived at 6:15 our apps came out within a few mins. Dinner did not come out til 7:30 so we had a lot of time in between with no explanation or reason. I can only think the server may have forgotten to put the order in. When the entrees did come out the potatoes were just warm and the Scallops were the same, like they were sitting. My dinner was good but slightly on the cold side. My husband's Filet was ordered med rare and came out Rare very rare. And the potatoes were cold. We usually always make it a point to say something but by this time we were so tired and just wanted to get out of there so we boxed up our dinners and took them home. very very disappointed. Bill was $184.00 and should have perfect for that price .

We had the prime rib and lamb chops. All of our meals were wonderful! We live the house salad too! But the Brandy Alexander was a phenomenal dessert!

We had such an amazing experience at Parson's Table tonight! I was honestly so surprised by how many vegetarian options they had, especially for being in Little River! We started with the baked brie (so good), then tried the fried green tomatoes, fettuccine Alfredo, spinach ravioli, and the sautéed mushroom entrée with a side of sweet potato and carrot purée. Everything was delicious and so well done. The atmosphere is gorgeous, with all the reclaimed architecture, stained glass, and antiques that make it feel super cozy and unique. The service was just as great, everyone was so friendly and on top of it. Already planning our next visit!

We had the prime rib and chicken Parmesan. Food was great as usual. Only negative was the noise. It was super loud this time.

Great family dinner. Everyone had steaks and they were great(NY strip, ribeye and filet). Cooked perfectly. Salads were very good. Price was good considering salad, starch and side were included. One of our go to places for upscale dining.

I' had heard so much good about this place that I decided to book it for our 53rd anniversary. My son and daughter-in-law were here visiting from out of town and wanted to treat us. However, we were all disappointed with the quality of the food! Three out of four meals were not good! One was so bad it was taken off the tab. The special which was Halibut was very overcooked! The sirloin tasted like it was smoked and it was full of grizzle and too rare! One meal the ribeye steak was excellent, however, the rice was cold! My food was just too terrible to mention, I ordered the Prime Rib. First, it came out cold and too raw, and after taking it back it returned a bit warmer, however, the meat was still very raw and full of so much fat it wasn't even palatable! We won't be returning! till v even palatable!

As ALWAYS... A great meal at a great price. We've been coming to Parson's Table for years now and it's always excellent. One note of feedback: Bring a sweater. Even though it was October the air was blasting and there was a vent right below my seat. Brrrrr.

The Parson's Table was recommended by another waitstaff/another restaurant. We were excited to see that we could make reservations by Open Table, but it wouldn't have been necessary. They were not busy since we were off season. They had a special of halibut, which sounded great. Served over lemon risotto. The first bite of the risotto seemed a bit salty, but the rest of it seemed okay. Was served with cornbread to start, then a side salad that had a good dressing on it. The serving portions were good. Jamie was our server, very attentive and moved the meal along at a good pace. We ended up with key lime pie; not as cloyingly sweet as some key lime pies we've had. Actually could taste the key lime. The only complaint we had was the price of the special; a bit more than we expected (it was $49), might have been a bit of a surprise to some diners. Would be good to mention the price when discussing the specials.

We were there for the early bird specials. The dining experience was great in the old church venue. Our server Joanne was fantastic. It was quiet, so we were able to enjoy each other's company and conversation. Would definitely recommend.

We have been dining at Parson's Table for more than 30 years and consider it the best restaurant in the Myrtle Beach area. Although we were sad to see the cheese and crackers and varied bread basket go, we continue to enjoy the salad and fresh seafood entrees. The ambience with the old boards and stain glass windows adds elegance to one's dining experience.

This place came highly recommended to us which is why I’m kinda disappointed. Me and my boyfriend ate here this weekend for our two year anniversary. I had put this on the reservation but nothing was mentioned so I assume their reservation system isn’t that advanced whatever. We were seated in the side room to the left with a couple of other younger couples. It was a bit cramped and I was very disappointed when I went to use the bathroom and saw how gorgeous the main dining area was and couldn’t help but notice lots of older folk sat there. Makes me think they put all the young people in a room because they’re less likely to complain about where they’re seated. Or we just all happened to be unlucky enough that the seating rotation but us there 🤷 I ordered the duck and my boyfriend ordered the New York strip. Corn bread and salad came out to start us off and they were both good nothing to note. Our server, bless her heart, was so sweet and kept checking up on us but not over crowding the table. Service was wonderful no complaints there. The duck I ordered was soy and ginger marinated with a raspberry coulis and it was just bad. It was my fault for not saying anything or sending it back in favor of something else but I ate that whole damn thing mama didn’t raise no quitter. But I felt as though the soy sauce over powered the duck and it just tasted like soy and the raspberry coulis did not pair well either the soy sauce flavor. I think if the sauce was strained as well it would’ve been better as the seeds stuck to my teeth as they do not very pleasant. Strained or not it still doesn’t compliment the soy flavors of the duck which honestly I think that’s what ruined it for me. I tried some of my boyfriend’s steak and it was alright. Kinda just a steak it wasn’t terribly seasoned but it wasn’t overly flavorful. Lacked that oomph that you would expect to come with the price tag. He also got some mushrooms on the side he said were under cooked and under seasoned but I hate mushrooms so I couldn’t tell ya. Overall we left very disappointed. My boyfriend never went to use the bathroom so he didn’t even see the big dining area. We were trying to figure out what kind of room we were in when the place was a church and the most we could think was broom closet or storage room. It really was such a shame on such a special night.

Visiting from out of town with friends who live in the area they introduced us to this gem. Food and service were top notch. Server was very knowledgeable and his recommendations were perfectly on point. Building itself has some interesting history and the atmosphere is very comfortable and welcoming. Highly recommend!
