third yearly spring mean mountain man trip . Always a great experience. Really nice bar and restaurant. The courtyard has a big fire pit to hang out and enjoy with friends and family. Just did the experience a few days ago. we use chatooga river lodge as our Forward Operations Base for the 24 man golf and fishing group. Fun Times .
Perfect location.
we love to visit this place in the spring because of the beautiful wisteria and all the beautiful marble and good food. Last visit last weekend we went all excited until the waitress came to take our order, she was nice but she had on a black shirt and it was completely covered in dog hair... I'm sorry but I dont want dog hair in my food. I can't believe no one said something to her about this. this is unacceptable.
Great camp sites with plenty of privacy and room. Plus there is a creek!
The lodge house (bathrooms and shower) could use some TLC.
The tavern is a great convenience with music and food! The chicken wings were small, but delicious!
They have a great selection to choose from.
