Backstreet Cafe has an awesome waiter, Patric! My sister let him know the day before my birthday that we were coming for lunch. He had made a bithday candy jar and balloons for me. It was a wonderful surprise. The food, of course was absolutely delicious! It always is! There was a cupcakes and a Birthday song!
7/18/2025 wife an I went in for 1st time! I got there 9oz rybeye special. Wife chose fried porkchops! We both cleared our plates an I never clear my plate.. never.. while dinning we spoke with a couple there! Small town home cooked meals sure to please. The burgers, mozzarella sticks, cheesesteak, and fried chicken sandwiches were all very good.
Unfortunately it was hot in the restaurant despite being cloudy outside so that’s the reason for the three star for the atmosphere.
I will be back…just not for dine in when it’s hot.
