Met Ben when he was a guest speaker at school. Finally got in the area. Stopped in bought slice of Key Lime Cake and Strawberry Short Cake. Wife enjoyed key lime I had strawberry. Both were excellent!! Strawberry tasted like a fresh strawberry short cake, moist and pieces of fresh strawberry. Icing is nice addition.

We thought it was Homemade Ice Cream but it turned out it wasn't.My Woman had a Waffle with two scoops of Rocky Road.I had two scoops of Peach on a Waffle.Big Ben does have Homemade cake.I ordered one slice of Carrot cake.The Ice cream was different though. It wasn't too sweet but itsettled out with tasting just fine.The Carrot cake was Beyond Delicious!!!! Definitely a Two thumbs up on the cake.They do have Catering for their Cakes. You can also get a whole Cake.Must Check out if you've never been!!Parking: About 15 spots in the Front to park.Kid-friendliness: Yes... Children Love Ice Cream shops
My husband and I ordered ice cream tonight… I left the store feeling super confused about what we were charged. Their website lists one price, their in-store menu lists another price, AND we were charged something completely different than either of those… not to mention quite a bit more. I don’t have an issue paying what is owed. My issue is their inconsistency and what may be dishonesty on their part. I’m really hoping this was an honest mistake and that nobody else is being deceived. (We ordered a single sugar cone and a jr size cup.)

I just love the service, and they greet you when you come in. You just tell them what slices you would like, and they get them for you. They will also help you with a decision. There are so many selections to choose from. The World Famous Banana Pudding is to die for. Milk shakes out of any flavor ice cream. I enjoyed the experience. Definitely returning.

You'll never feel unwelcome there or even rushed out. Added bonus; it's always very clean & well sanitized!!!Kid-friendliness: Staff is very kind and friendly with everyone, regardless of age, ethnicity, gender, style, whatever. They genuinely make everyone feel welcome & it truly feels authentic.
The Oreo cake was to die for. It tasted amazing! There were so many layers to the cake that it could easily serve 12 slices. The buttercream frosting was the best I've ever had. Very happy with my purchase, only wish it wasn't $55. I will also mention that you need to place your order in advance if you want the day you're looking for since they book up fast.

This is the 3rd separate occasion I've tried to place a order for cupcakes. I call well within the 24hr advance stated and even tried 3 weeks before I needed them but I'm always told no or sorry. Today I was told sorry he can't he has a previous speaking engagement. Like man how far on advance do you need notice. You all have great baked goods but seems like I can never get a order.

Ben and the ladies are always so nice! Best key lime and strawberry cake!! The vanilla cake with chocolate icing is like my grandfather used to make. Brings back great memories!!!

We LOVE everything about Big Ben's. The manager is always so friendly and kind - she always chats with us, and even remembered that we recently got married & congratulated us ♡ Their desserts are the absolute BEST around. Literally everything we've had from here is absolutely delicious. It makes complete sense to hear Ben's story and how he listened to his calling from God to become a baker. You can taste his love of baking in the cakes! We love supporting a local company and will continue to get our desserts here.

My 75 year old mother has went to this establishment a few times now because she loves their cakes. She broke her femur, had surgery and now they have to go back in to replace broken screws and plates. She had a heart attack right after breaking her femur and is now awaiting having open heart surgery as well.They have curbside service on their website , however, when she went the first time the lady working told her she would bring her order to the car THIS time but not again.So, my mother goes back to get a big order she placed and was going to ask someone that was going in if they could bring her order out to her. She just needed someone to help her but the lady and girl working today were very rude to her. They weren't busy and the lady came out because my mom had been sitting there a while.l in front of the store. My mom told her she was going to ask someone to help her and the lady told her she could not "solicitate" anyone. That's not solicitation, it's just asking someone for some help, a good Samaritan, if you will.Last week my mom asked a sweet couple going in if they would help bring her order out and they were happy to help.The lady working also interrogated my mother on if she can't walk, how does she get in her car?Really none of your business but my mother explained she has a rider at home and drives it up close to her car to get in.She also said she could call Uber for delivery and my mother told her that they don't deliver to her address.She could've just said, "we're not busy right now and I'd be happy to help you".She could've have gotten her order in less time that it took standing outside at her car.I don't care how great your cakes are if you treat people rudely.Don't ask anyone to help you get your order or you're soliciting.Very disappointed in the treatment my mother received today.
