Big portions. Great bbq. Will be back. Take out only.
Excellent BBQ as well as Hash&Rice. The ladies were super sweet and helpful.
For "connoisseurs", the sauce is a delightfully tangy tomato/vinegar blend.
I had the small plate, my husband some sandwiches. Portions were generous and filling.
The Alice Dr location is open Wed thru Sunday. Others are open over the weekend. They do take credit/debit cards, at least at this location.

I now live in Virginia but if I ever drive through South Carolina I plan a stop in Sumter to feast on the BBQ and especially the BBQ hash and rice. You see they don't have hash in Virginia and I miss it. I grew up in Sumter and always loved the occasions to bring home some Ward's BBQ. Their recipe is gold. My last trip though last week I bought two quarts of hash to freeze. Their is nothing fancy about their restaurants but I don't go for the surroundings. I go for the BBQ. Check...read full review
