“Best Italian I've ever had! Don't waste a visit on burgers and such, go for the pasta you won't regret it! Husband had bacon and penne pasta, I had mussels, shrimp and class in red sauce, both with just the right amount of spice. Fabulous! Natalie and Ludovico were super friendly and hospitable as well, can't wait to go back. Bring your own wine!“

“Liz Barwick and I were staying at a nearby hotel and decided to check out Giovanni's on a whim as it was a short walk away. What a fantastic decision this ended up being! There was a short wait for a table (less than half an hour) but that makes complete sense given the relatively small but very inviting interior space. It all feels very cozy and intimate. Service was excellent start to finish. The host made us feel welcome and accommodated, the Owner/Manager went over the specials and gave us a quick rundown on the options available, our server was prompt and very friendly, and we were never left wanting at any step in the experience. The food was all fantastic as well! We split an order of Calamari in sauce and fried mozzarella as a starter (both delicious) and for mains Liz had the Chicken Alfredo while I had a Mushroom and Truffle Ravioli special. Both of these were incredible and the ravioli dish was served with a flavorful oil and a small basket of bread to soak it up so as to not let a bit go to waste. We also had the Tiramisu as a takeout and it was on the same high level as everything else that we experienced! Overall I cannot recommend Giovanni's enough to anyone looking to have an intimate, traditional Italian experience in the Greenville area and will be coming again in the future!“

“Had diner at DeMarco’s 8/11. Excellent. The sever, Theresa, was superb. We had a special appetizer for my birthday. The mixers la was perfectly warmed and salted. My eggplant was too much! I had to bring my cheese cake home and it came with a little candle! The atmosphere was elegant but not overstated. The best dining experience we have had in Greenville.“

“My husband and I love Gio's! They have the best selection of pre-made soups/foods, Italian goodies, fresh baked bread, and sweet treats! We haven't gotten anything from Gio's that we did not like. I am particularly in love with their cannoli! Do not sleep on Gio's for Italian bakery goods and foods. My only complaint is they don't have a store where we are moving to.“

“My family and I recenty visited this location. I came specifically for the newly returned Braised Beef Tortelloni (my all-time favorite and the main reason I would visit Olive Garden). Unfortunately, it wasn’t available that night, but our server Gabby, being very attentive, noticed my disappointment and quietly notified the manager, Dejuan.
Dejuan went above and beyond, personally ensuring the kitchen could still prepare the dish for me despite it being off-menu that evening.
It was absolutely delicious and just as delicious as I always remembered it.

“What a pleasant surprise! We weren’t expecting this place to have sandwiches, and we’re so glad we walked over to check out the menu.

The Hot Mama was the perfect refreshing sandwich on a hot, humid summer day, flavorful, satisfying, and generously portioned. Each sandwich is cut in half and wrapped individually, making it easy to save for later (just note it can get a bit soggy).

The Chop Cheese was absolute heaven! The slight kick from the peppers added just the right touch of heat. With the large portions, I enjoyed the second half for dinner at the airport. It was still delicious, even without being piping hot.

Don’t skip the mozzarella bites, a fun, creative twist on classic cheese sticks. Make your way to the back corner of Gather and give this place a try. It’s worth it!“

The proteins in the Athenian combination platter are juicy and possibly charcoal grilled, with no tendrils or gritty bites, which is hard to find these days. The entree alone is a little simple, I spruced mine up with sautéed bell peppers and onions to go with a side of fluffy, fresh yellow rice. Ordering two 2oz tzatziki sauces tied it all together. Their pita bread is served in wrap formation, fresh to each order. Less than $20 after tax for the meal as is, or ~$27 for all the extras mentioned including another piece of bread. 🫓 🥂 The salad is included, easily three meals out of this one order. 10/10 restaurant.
