Love this place!!
Idk if they have a new guy working with them the only reason why I’m doing this is because he messed up on three different things. The first two was when I placed my mobile order. I asked for chopsticks and soy sauce. He said OK I get there. There were no chopsticks or soy sauce in the bag when I called the order and I said I want a steak and shrimp with rice. Enjoy this little local gem. It’s Americanized Japanese food with the classic white/yum yum sauce. It’s consistent, good, with nice people. Have eaten here multiple times, and will continue to go

Mr. Hibachi is a restaurant with friendly and super friendly staff. The food is fresh, authentic, and delicious, with the best chicken and rice in SC. The sushi is prepared fresh with perfect presentation, and the portions are generous and satisfying. The restaurant offers great value, with affordable lunch prices like the 2 sushi rolls for $11 and chicken hibachi lunch for just $7. The facility is comfortable and roomy, and the service is excellent, with a sweet owner who always has a smile. The young lady with the European accent behind the register is very friendly and makes a positive impression. While the atmosphere could use some renovation, the warm staff and quality food make up for it. Despite some minor issues, Mr. Hibachi remains a great place to visit for good food and a welcoming environment.
