I enjoyed the pizza the first time I came here, but when I returned today the (white) man working behind the counter looked at me and said “Hey you’re back and still black”. Another customer standing in line was visibly shocked by what he said to me. I won’t be coming back.

The Gyro is the best in South Carolina! I have been coming to Dough Rae Mi's for over 25 years. If you have never tried them, you are in for a treat!!! The owners are awesome people. I really love you guys. Thank you for all your years of service.

Ordered a 14 inch pizza, very doughy…soft, not NY style at all. Side of meatballs were terrible…overcooked and not tasty at all.

Never dinned in, but the take out experience is always great!

DO NOT ORDER from this business.

AWFUL experience; we ordered a pizza and a small salad and were told that it would be here within 45 minutes. An hour goes by and we call the restaurant to find out the expected time, the sweet young kid, who answers the phone says that it will be about 10 to 15 minutes more.

We say OK, give them our hotel room, directions, and assume that we’re good.

Three minutes later, the owner of the business calls, basically giving me a lecture on the fact that the pizza was only 10 minutes late technically at that point, and admonishing me that I should manage my expectations.

Never in all my life have I had an owner call to lecture me because their driver is late!!

I asked him what he’s hoping to accomplish from the phone call, since I had agreed to continue with the order, and had simply said “OK” when the young kid told me that they were running behind.

But instead of ending the conversation there, he repeats back, “what do I want? Why am I calling?“. Basically, he’s just wanting a conversation from this exhausted traveler, who simply wants to have a little bite of dinner and pass out. But he wants to give me a lecture.

So I say, sir, if there’s nothing more that you want from this conversation, I’d like to go, and he again starts in telling me about how they’re only running a little bit behind, misquoted the original time given (He basically fibs and says that the original time was 45 minutes to an hour, but that was clearly not what the young man had said ). He goes on and on about how nice the guy was that I spoke to and how great the driver is that’s on her way and running late.

He literally won’t end the conversation. So I say, I need to go, this is bordering on harassment. Because calling a customer, who literally is just trying to get a pizza order, and keeping them on the phone and lecturing them is not proper business protocol. Especially because I have done nothing wrong and was perfectly amicable. To the fact they were running late.

Now the owners response is, “harassment? Where are you from?!“

Again, not allowing me to get off the call.

I tell the owner, go ahead and cancel my order, I’m done with the conversation, and that I need to get off the phone.

Of course, the owner doesn’t pay attention. He has the driver still continue on with my order, the driver shows up about 10 minutes later, very nice woman in her mid 60s missing a few teeth, who tells me a story about her family ...

NOW, about the food. New York or Italian style pizza, this is not. It is doughy, thick, bland, and messy. It is not appetizing, savory, or that enjoyable to eat.

The small salad was slightly limp, lettuce, not all of it, Romain, by the way, which is unacceptable in a Caesar salad, the Parmesan flakes were processed cheese that were over dry, and the dressing was too sweet. It was one of the worst delivery meals I’ve had to eat. $35$ and we threw 1/2 away- Wasn’t worth suffering through.

Probably one of the craziest experiences I’ve ever had in my travels, and since there’s literally about 25 other great pizzerias in the area, I would suggest ordering from ANY OTHER PLACE but here.

Thank You.

The pizza was delicious the price was reasonable for what we got. It looks like it’s been there for a while but I recommend. The owner was a nice guy. This pizza was really delicious🍕!!

My 11yo and I originally went to Mellow Mushroom but was closed. So we came here. Food was excellent and the owner is a real nice guy. It has a “hole in the wall” atmosphere and vibe, but good food and nice service. Homemade ingredients, laid back service and can drinks! We loved it and will def come back!

Tried to figure out if they deliver to us, guy who answered didn't have the answer (which was fine) so he tagged in somebody else. The somebody else immediately got very agitated, didn't answer our question, told us to call somebody else, and hung up. I don't write reviews like this because I never believe them when I read them, but that guy got so pissed and defensive it made me never want to eat there lol. Caller beware.

Seemed person working did not want us there. I asked if possible to eat there and he said usually just take out so we went elsewhere
