We spent a few hours in Charleston then went to eat at Agaves. It was our first time there. Seemed like a great place to eat, very popular. It was fine until my plate arrived. It appeared as though they didn’t want to waste food because the amount of rice on my plate was very small. The food was decent enough but their portions were unsatisfactory. Don’t intend to eat there again.

I ordered a horchata from the online ordering platform, which is awful I might add. Somehow my drink was removed from the order and a 20% tip was added to a CARRYOUT ORDER yes you deserve $12 for taking 30 seconds to put food in a bag! Thanks agaves!

We were hungry for Mexican, salsa was bland and food was okay, waited over 10min just for drinks, won’t be back.

The food is real good. The owner needs cameras, to see for themselves how lacking there wait staff are. There slow and inefficient.

We wanted to have lunch so we went to Agaves Cantina. The local recommended it, and they greeted us at the door and got us settled at a table. The ambiance of the restaurant was beautiful.

Fernando was our server, and he brought out the menus. After talking with him, we decided on the Pollo A La Creme, Quesadilla Fajita, and Nachos Fajita.

The server bought out some chips and salsa, which was a great start to our lunch. Both the chips and salsa were delicious, and everyone in our group enjoyed them.

The server brought us out all our dishes, and they were all really well-made, delicious, and perfect lunch options. There was definitely enough food to go around for everyone in our group.

Agaves Cantina is a beautiful restaurant with delicious and high-quality food.

I came here with two small children and they were so kind and accommodating to the chaos I brought with me. I’m sure we are not their ideal clientele, but you wouldn’t have known it with how they treated us. And also the food was delicious! We had the veggie fajitas and margaritas and I loved both.

Food was prepared quick and very well. They have a huge selection of margaritas and the craft list is highly recommended. Chips and salsa come to each table. What I appreciate, aside from the good services and the great vibes, is that my meal came with 'sides' . It's so rare now and was a welcome reminder that good food doesnt need to be expensive.

The service was not bad. The server was very sweet and attentive.

The food was bland. It didn't have any flavor. The best part was the refried beans. The chips were a little stale, despite going at lunch.
