We’ve been here a handful of times now and we have to say this is one of our favorite Mexican spots in the area! Probably the favorite. The food the atmosphere and especially the service is top-notch. The staff has gone above and beyond for me and my family over and over again. And even when we mistakenly ordered the wrong thing this time, they covered it and switched it out for what we wanted to order originally. Super patient with young families! We particularly recommend Rafael the server as he was tremendous tonight. We recommend this to anyone looking for good Mexican!

On 05-30-2024, I visited. Decent visit, but horrible experience.. I clearly wrote a 15% tip and the new total on the credit card receipt. When I checked my credit card, I saw an extra $10 was added to the amount I put for a tip. So, the server fraudulently charged more and tried to steal from me. To correct this, I called to talk with a manager, but could not get anyone to take my call.

Ordered a large cheese dip togo ($8). Person brings me out a single small cup of cheese dip. I asked where the chips for the dip were and the person said that it didn’t come with chips (I’ve ordered from every Mexican restaurant and they always do; so that’s pretty confusing). I said alright well I need the chips to eat the dip
The person working the counter said it would be almost $7 for just the chips
I said that can’t be right; $13 for a 5oz container of cheese dip and the chips to eat it with??
The person working the counter said that it was correct and even looked in disbelief themselves. Nachos on the menu were only $10 and that comes with a protein option
I told him forget it. When your business nickels and dimes your guest; they won’t be your guest anymore
Absolutely ridiculous to charge that amount for a basic menu item. Wouldn’t be surprised if this place fails based off other reviews I’ve read about their customer service
Went to your competition right down from the road and ordered a cheese dip and… not only cheaper price; but came with chips

We love this place. Food is great, service is great, drink menu is top notch ... lots of margaritas to choose from and they're all good. Last time in I had a draft beer to change it up and it was ice cold and very fresh. All at a reasonable price. Highly recommend this place!

Have eaten here 4 times. Ordered the same thing every time. Every time was different. This was the last time. Chicken chimichanga, chicken this time was tough and chewy. The chips were hard with no flavor. Last visit.

First time here in a Friday night so it was packed. I give the atmosphere a 1 because looked at us like we did not belong here but that seems to be the people in this small radius. The service gets a one because the server sucked! Rushed us, had a negative disposition and stood over us and waited for us to pay after giving us the receipt which I’ve never experienced before. As if we were going to leave without paying. It’s sad but the people in this radius of Mt Pleasant appear to be snobby and come across as racist. Also, food was like warm which was another first because every Mexican joint we’ve been too the food is sizzling.

I have one frustration with this place. Why does their salsa taste different than the one on Daniel Island. I swear this locations taste like they put tomato paste and or Italian seasoning in their salsa. I hope you guys read this. Your salsa taste different compared to any other place in Charleston. Other than that everything is spot on.

Ordered a combo, it didn't come with the rice and beans as advertised, its 100% listed in the menu. Called to get them replaced and was given a huge amount of attitude from the person on the phone and they refused to fix their mistake. It's a shame as this had been a favorite, will never return and tell everyone I know that this is an incredibly poor establishment that doesn't honor their actual menu. They should be ashamed of themselves for refusing to give their customers what they ordered.

The nachos I order to go were a mess and not very eatable. I have gone here for years, overall the food is consistently average. The best thing here is the drinks, but they come with a price.
