I love Whole Foods but I don't love this Mt. P Whole Foods. The cashiers (80% of them) seem to not enjoy working there - their disposition is one of shortness and they just seem unhappy. Not a fan of the store manager either. He also seems to be grumpy most the time. I guess the trickle down affect happens and spreads to everyone who works there. The only happy people seem to be the ladies in the bakery and the seafood team members. I wish this WF was like the west Ashley one. The Mt. P location is closer to me but the WA location seems much nicer probably because it's newer. But the team members there all are friendly and helpful. Not sure exactly what the deal is at this Mt. P location. Whole Foods corporate - please look into this! Thanks!

Whole Foods in West Ashley is a big disapointment...California is the best.organic major..juice bar ...better selection in deli...bakery...everything,, maybe it's the culture but the West coast Vibe can't be beat... upbeat positive bright healing....,,,,people here would love that in their lives..Step it up Charleston sc

What the heck has happened to Whole Foods in Mt P?! The long-time employees are missing and it shows. I just called the store twice and was greeted with 'glad you're born and alive. Whole Foods how can I help you?". Wtf. Ordering a pizza is harder than canceling cable. It's a cost vs benefit conundrum as you waste away listening to Whole Food's on-hold music. No one wants pizza that badly right? If you can tolerate waiting more than 5 minutes for a Whole Foods pie - you're a masochist. Why can't Trader Joes make pizza?

I grew up in this area but have lived all over the country. This Whole Foods wins the prize for the worst I have ever visited. It is painful to shop at this store. The majority of the staff is rude and unhelpful. They have too few people working at the counters. But the worst part is the aggressively rude customer service manager. We have had several run many with him. Each time we were not talking to him but he rudely Inserted himself and started arguing with us. Just happened again today. He has no business being a customer service manager. The key is in the title, which seems to be lost on him. As inconvenient as it is to drive farther and go to several stores. It is much better than shopping here.

I travel often and always stop in at a Whole Foods for healthy food options. This location probably has the largest hot food and salad bar I have ever seen. The selection was amazing. I got my lunch here a couple days in a row. They have easy self-serve registers to check out so you don't have to wait in line.

Whole Foods Market in Mount Pleasant is one of my favorite places to shop for groceries in the Charleston area. They have a wonderful selection of all my friends types of food. The store is well managed and run and they do a really good at making sure to provide you the assistance and help you need during your shopping trip. I have eaten some wonderful meals prepared with food from here over the years. I also like their prepared food here and it is a great option if you are hungry and on a schedule.

We moved to this area in July and have been here a handful of times. In Colorado the WF was awesome, great staff and people wanting to help. At this location you feel like a burden or just in the way when they are cleaning or checking you out. Trader Joe's is just around the corner and that is not the experience there. The hot food bar and self checkout are the reason I will keep stopping by but only for those reasons. The prices are too high to lack in customer service.

Amazing food and costumer service at the bar but you really need to schedule more people. The lady was cooking everything and also serving people, drinks and taking to go orders. This made everything take a LOT longer. All 12 seats were taken and people waiting to sit down. Great food but you really need a better managers scheduling this shifts. Not fair for the employee working it.

I mean, it's Whole Foods. If you shop here regularly you learn how not to break the bank doing so. The changes to the store over the last few years have been nice. Some of the staff have a little "tude" but most are very friendly. Sometime the chicken tenders are WONDERFUL... othertimes they're burnt to a crisp.

Love that we have a Whole Foods in Mount Pleasant, and they have such a good selection of organic vegetables. Their product selections for those people on a limited ingredient diet is great, too. The only thing that is stopping me from giving a 5 Star review is the fact twice in the past month they have not had grass fed beef bones for broth (but they always seem to have soup bones - not the same thing though). I guess there a lot of people in the area who make their own bone broth, just wish Whole Foods would stock more to help keep up with the demand.

Whole Foods salad bar is an okay place to dine if you're in a hurry and don't want the atypical fast food chain option. However, the hot food in the bar is usually way over cooked and over seasoned. It's not unusual for many of the trays to be empty or close too empty. For breakfast, get there early. After around 9:45 they no longer replenish the hit section of the bar.
