Arts is a mostly local hangout with a phenomenal atmosphere with a very knowledgeable and helpful staff. The outdoor bar is a welcomed addition, with smoking available to those who do. The manager, Julia, always makes our stay enjoyable, and never hesitates to facilitate any of our needs. 10/10 recommend this restaurant to any and all, whether local or visiting.

Arts has the best burgers in town. Their seafood is local and fresh. Service was spot on.

We were passing through Mt. Pleasant at dinner time and pulled into Art's because it looked like the place that locals go to. We had dinner on a Saturday night and it was busy but not packed. The staff here were amazing. It appeared that our server may have also been a bartender, but others assisted with our table when he was busy. The seafood was fresh and delicious. I had the seafood sampler plate and my wife had the burger. Both were top-tier.

My bar tender/order taker was fantastic. I believe he went off duty after I ordered but insured i got my order by communicating with the next shift what orders were still pending.
This is how it should be, but so often is not how it is. This guy, and it could have been a woman, went to a extraordinarily level of service, that I believe it is a standard operating procedure with this establishment.
Fun place to go

Was in town for an extended weekend, rained the entire time :-( Went to Art's for takeout and had THE best time at the outdoor bar while I waited! Bartenders were very warm, engaging (Mallory included) - the food came surprisingly fast I was not ready to leave! Already planning a 'do-over' back to Mt Pleasant and make Art's a must stop!

Not great. Our food took well over an hour to come out after our appetizer. Our server was great and was very apologetic, and he was clearly embarrassed. He kept checking in and told us that the cook as well as most of the staff was new, but that that was not an excuse and he wanted to ask the manager to comp our food. We had not complained about the delay. The manager came by and was apologetic and offered to comp our appetizer, which really was the only thing we ate. When they finally came out my husband’s French Dip was cold and my burger was mediocre. I don’t know if they noticed that our plates were mostly untouched when we asked for the bill. I’d say skip this place unless you’re a local wanting a beer.
