So soooo good. I still dream about it. Alec (who I think was maybe the owner?? manager??) was SO kind. I just so happened to be there on my 30th birthday - which was also Bodega’s 2nd birthday. Alec brought over champagne, juices, and homemade treats (on the house!!) for us to celebrate. Seriously, so generous - we couldn’t stop talking about how nice it was. I can’t recommend this place enough - I wish I could give it 100 stars.

First time eating here. We were so excited but were quickly met with disappointment. The food here is so DRY. We tried: pancakes, a sandwich and a bowl. Everything was DRY. The food was so disappointing. It looks so pretty and appetizing but that’s as good as it gets.
The location is very cute and photo worthy but maybe just order coffee and enjoy the atmosphere…maybe.
It hurts to say, but there are MUCH better places to enjoy a bite to eat where your money will be better spent.

A couple of friends and I came to the Bodega for a classic girl's brunch to start the new year strong and left with plans to return as soon as we could! We sat in their outdoor patio and enjoyed the standing heaters, wonderful food, and excellent service! The staff is so welcoming and the owner is a delight, as he went above and beyond to make me and my friends feel comfortable and satisfied with our experience. We will certainly be back! 5 stars all around!

Had the most fantastic, 3 hour, yap session, girls brunch here! The food was great portion sizes and delicious. We sat on the outdoor porch in December and we were totally comfortable with the standing heaters around. The owner, Alec, brought out mimosas and dessert on the house for us to enjoy! Will 100% be coming back on the regular with the girls.
Service was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. There are several gluten free and vegan options. Even with it being on a busy road, it was peaceful sitting on the patio under the tree. I really wanted to like this place but the potatoes in the bowl were very salty and the coffee was bitter. I was with a group of three and everyone agreed. I'm willing to give it another shot and maybe try one of the to-go salads instead.

First off happy new year to all. Today visited this absolutely wonderful and inviting restaurant again and placed a breakfast order for my entire crew at work well the crew that decided to show up and of course no surprise not disappointed in the least. Vonny and Ella are super professional inviting and amazing at their craft. Everyone ofy workers absolutely loved the food (DUHHHH) their food is great. But the staff and environment is what keeps me coming back. Suggestion to management is to award your crew with perhaps a gift card or financial pat on the back for how amazing they are. The food and atmosphere gets people there but your staff and their service is what gets them coming back. Yet again kudos to vonny and Ella and the nameless staff behind the curtain that make amazing food. Hope the owner of this establishment sees this and personally extends their gratitude to their staff who keep this establishment second to none. Happy new year to all and again thank u to the incredible staff at bodega. Crushing the competition one smile and sandwich at a time. Keep up the great work in 2026. Thank you as always

I will start this review with some background so that the following comments wil have greater gravity and relevance. In new York city a cup of coffee and a good breakfast sandwich is a staple of our daily. I have worked across street from Bodega Mount Pleasant location for months now. But the outward appearance of being a pretentious typical mount pleasant establishment caused pause but I decided to give try. I couldn't have been more wrong. After being thru what been thru in life being wrong now a days is a relief. The atmosphere and employees and service couldn't be more inviting and professional. Vonny who appears to run the front end is super professional and efficient and even remembered my name after just 2 visits. In a world where people who suck at their jobs he is true employee who proves that there are still people who care about what they do. Ella who is one of their bauristas I had the pleasure of having a minimal interaction with.was a extremely kind person and appeared to be extremely efficient and of course we all know woman are better multi taskers by genetics. Heard several other patrons rave about her drinks so she apparently knows her craft. Bottom line is the food is phenomenal the prices are fair and the service is second to none. If the owners read this I truly hooe you guys see the value you guys have true assets in your mount pleasant location. Vonny and Ella are phenomenal employees and hope they are treated as such. Sorry for the long winded review but is such a breat of fresh air to aee there people still taking pride in their craft. Hands down one the best places in the county to eat.

Been here multiple times and it never disappoints me! I always get a coffee when I go here and when the young lady upfront makes it let me telllll you she never misses. Always perfect! Food is also always hot so that’s a plus as well!! Shout out to the crew from the front of the house to the back y’all are awesome!!!
