Brown Fox Coffee is a nice little neighborhood coffee stop that focuses on quality drinks and simple execution. This is an outside only location where you place and pay for your order at the window then walk around the corner to pick it up from the counter. There is some outdoor seating available which adds to the relaxed casual feel. While you cannot order from your car or go inside the setup is straightforward and easy to follow.
I ordered a cappuccino and a blueberry muffin and both were really enjoyable. The cappuccino was well crafted with smooth foam and good flavor and the muffin was fresh moist and full of blueberry taste. From a quality standpoint everything I tried was solid and clearly made with care.
Overall the experience was pleasant and positive. Nothing went wrong and the staff was efficient and organized. For me it lands at three stars not because of anything negative but simply because it felt more like a good everyday coffee stop than a standout destination. It does what it sets out to do and does it well.
One thing to keep in mind is the weather since everything is outdoors. When I visited it was freezing cold which obviously made the experience a bit shorter but that has nothing to do with the shop itself. On a nicer day I can easily see this being a great spot to grab a coffee and enjoy it outside. If you are looking for a reliable coffee and pastry made with quality ingredients Brown Fox Coffee is a good choice.

I no longer drink coffee, but love tea. I went there in November and tried their seasonal sugar and spice latte (chai latte with pumpkin syrup). I tried to get the same thing in December, but they were out of pumpkin. Tried the same thing with gingerbread syrup and it was even better! Staff is very nice and helpful and there is never a long line when I go there. Great local tea and coffee shop!

We’re visiting from the Inland Northwest, where there are tons of great coffee options, so we were excited to try this place. Unfortunately, the drinks fell a bit short for us. We ordered iced caramel macchiatos but received lattes instead, and the coffee flavor was very faint and got lost behind the other elements of the drink. Overall, the coffee was just okay, and not quite what we were hoping for.
On a positive note, the staff was friendly, prompt, and welcoming. However, based on our experience with the drinks, we likely wouldn’t return.

Very quaint spot on the corner of Coleman and Simmons with super friendly staff and great tasting coffee that is also reasonably priced. Would highly recommend. No indoor seating but plenty outdoor.
Such an adorable little coffee shop! I would highly recommend anytime you are in the Mount Pleasant/Charleston area. We were visiting from Florida and we will definitely come back when we are in town again!
