Restaurant closed permanently on 5/29/22, 2 days before our reservation with no notice until we arrived at the restaurant.
Excellent meal enjoyed by all. The fish and chips was a very large portion and fried to perfection. I also tried the risotto with pan seared chicken and wild South Carolina mushrooms. Good variety of local/regional food and traditional pub food (burgers, sandwiches, etc). Service was excellent and prices are fair.
Second time here. Highly recommend for a friendly night out. Food, service and ambiance tick all the boxes. Menu items are diverse and well prepared. Typical pub fare prepared at restaurant quality level. Will definitely return.
What a fantastic little find! We took our in laws there, while visiting the area. The service was a tad slow but they were short staffed (who isn't) and super apologetic. The food was amazing! Between us we had the fried chicken, meatloaf, shrimp and grits, and fried pimento cheese, and it was all fantastic, with huge portions!
The reception was great and seating was quick. Food wise, the duck fries were amazing. But it went downhill quickly. The server had no idea if there were specials or what they were. The food came out raw (two different meals: fish and beef), and the sides were all mixed up amongst the plates. The positives: they corrected the raw food as quickly as possible and didnt charge for the new food; sides were easily interchanged. The wait staff was all pleasant and the atmosphere was laid back and relaxed. I wish the food had come out more cooked but what we had was good and the desserts were really incredible.

First time visit and it was exemplary in every respect. From the wonderful customer service by our Server, Robbie, to the quality of the food and the size of the portions, this was a wonderful dining experience. Recommended with enthusiasm.
Went for brunch and originally sat at the hightops in the bar area. Tables and chairs are very nice but awkward. Even though they are clearly big enough, the design does not allow for 4 people to sit at one without all 4 having a leg on the outside of the table, it's really awkward. Anyway, ended up sitting outside which was nice. Food was really good as was the service, we'll definitely be back.
Service wasn't great, but food was good despite being a little pricey for what it is. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back but it worked as a last minute dinner plan.
Everything was amazing. Our server was so accommodating and personable. The food, wine and cocktails were outstanding.

It was OK. After we stopped with one beverage, follow up became scarce. I had the fish and chips, it was good, the running with the bulls cocktail was ok, my wife's chicken was cathartic and our guests shrimp and grits was over cooked and too gritty
Such a cute space! Too bad food was awful and service wasn't much better. Found a margarine wrapper in my food and my son's broccoli came in a cup that was 1/4 filled with melted butter. Husband's meatloaf was so-so. There was very little flavor in any of our dishes. It wasn't busy so I don't understand why the service was so slow. The only person working the whole time was the bartender.
We picked Bull & Finch as a last minute choice and it worked out great. Our server was great. She made a recommendation to my friend who was dining with me and she absolutely loves her meal. Mine was really good too. Best omelette I've had in a while.
Went here with a large group and we had an amazing experience. Our waiter was super friendly and very attentive. The food was incredible, and the noise level was not too loud, so we could all hear each other speaking. Would definitely go back!
Everything was truly amazing. Including the perfect service. Drinks were great and we never had to wait long for anything. Had one beer first that I didn't like so much so our amazing server promptly replaced it with another drink which was awesome and wasn't charged for the beer at all. Had the fried brussel sprouts app and they were best I've ever had. The sauce on them was so good. Husband had the steak bites app and mushroom bisque and raved about both. Portions were so huge for the brussels and steak bites that we had to bring some home. Had the Funghi bread rustic bread for my entree and it too was wonderful and was a large portion also. Husband had the fish and chips entree and said it was excellent as well. Can't say enough great things about this place and can't wait to go back and try other items.
