The gentleman who works nights is genuinely the friendliest, warmest, and most inviting service worker i may have ever met. I hope this review makes an impact on the establishment to acknowledge his excellence. Even when I made my order difficult because I hadn't been to cookout before, he was kind and helpful. If you go for the night shift, youll get an elite conversation from a man with a beautiful bright soul.

It was my families first time at Cookout, and the manager Byron was incredible!!! Extremely friendly and took the time to explain the menu to us along with his recommendations. He was the best and made our night! Would recommend going just for the amazing service.

Our first time trying out this place. The drive thru was rushed and although the sauce menu is listed on the drive thru menu, the representative told us he would ask about sauces at the window. He handed us our bags and did not give us any sauces we asked for. We didn’t complain. We didn’t go far when we checked the bag. We simply drive back and politely said we didn’t get any sauces. The representative gave us the sauce but said sorry in a mocking voice and told us he’d see us tomorrow. Just a rude and weird experience

The fast food in this whole region is wild. Every place is slower than my cousin who has Down syndrome. I can’t tell if it’s just an overall vibe or if there’s a larger explanation. You can legit sit in line for 20 min and no cars are moving. Cookout is one of the fastest places in charlotte nc. But here I keep looking around for the hidden cameras cause I must be getting pranked. Makes me feel like I’ve gone totally insane, and not due to the mushrooms I’ve eaten.

Cookout always hits home-food is great for fast food and is usually pretty fast. They’re very popular so expect a line at peak times. I really enjoy their 20+ shake flavors but the Oreo flavor is the best in my opinion.
