Fuji Sushi Bar & Grill

This place is seriously a gem. The moment you walk in, you can tell they’ve put a lot of thought into everything—from the layout of the restaurant to the vibe and overall atmosphere. It feels modern but still super cozy, with just the right mix of energy and relaxation, whether you're at the sushi bar or one of the hibachi tables.

The food? Amazing. Super fresh sushi, creative rolls, and the hibachi is a whole experience on its own—fun, flavorful, and cooked to perfection right in front of you. You can tell the chefs know what they’re doing and actually care about every dish that goes out.

What really stands out, though, is the attention to detail. The menu is clean and easy to navigate, the plating is beautiful, and even the little things—like how the tables are set up or how friendly and on-point the staff is—just make the whole experience better.

Definitely one of those places you end up wanting to come back to, whether it’s for a casual night out or something a little more special. Highly recommend.

We waited 90 minutes and still didn't get our dinner. The excuse was someone order a sushi boat. However, people around us were getting food. I will never go back. They should be embarrassed. The sushi chefs were terrible. And they didn't seem to care so I don't mind leaving a bad review. Do not ever go to this restaurant.

After being seated, we waited for 20 minutes and no servers came over. We watched 3 other tables who arrived after us get water and drinks.i don’t usually write reviews but servers please be mindful of what tables you have! Quite a few servers noticed us but did not make an effort to see if we had been helped or needed anything. You lost a customer!

All around a good sushi place. I have my favorite place in Charleston and it's still unmatched but this place is closer and will do the trick.

I dined at Fuji Sushi Bar & Grill on Saturday and had a great experience. The food was excellent, and our waitress, Bella, really stood out. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything went smoothly without being overbearing. Her service added to an already enjoyable meal. I’d definitely be back!

Avocado salad was very good.. California roll was average..shrimp udon was poor..shrimp were overcooked..rubbery..terrible..was dining with 2 other guests ..3 total guests and the waiter could not give me a check for me and one for the other two..he fouled it up several times until we just paid and left.have dined here many times the quality has gone down hill

I had an amazing experience at Fuji Restaurant in Mt. Pleasant! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it the perfect spot.

Food was good, Everyone got their food we waited 10 minutes after they were served and Our order was the easiest to make. Waitress couldn’t keep the order straight; I don’t mind giving a tip, but I do mind giving a 15% tip for 5% service.

Our favorite local sushi spot with our favorite server, Reese. It’s like coming home but with better food and somebody to bring your food and do your dishes. Which is probably why we eat her often! Underrated gem!

This is the best sushi in Charleston by far, Val and Justine are amazing servers. The inside needs a little update, but the food is out of this world
