I’m not going to tell you what to get here. My group of three had a variety of grits from their menu and we were all so impressed with the taste and variety that they offer.

The food, ambiance and service was great. I’m amazed at how many ways in which you can not only pair but cook grits. The only thing thats could have made the evening dinner spectacular would have been the seating as my fiance and I were seated at a table near the bar and front door entrance as well as the outdoor seating entrance. This was a heavy foot traffic area and very noise-filled area.

From start to finish, this meal was incredible. We kicked things off with the bread service—absolutely amazing and the perfect start. I had the chicken with succotash, and my husband ordered the steak—both were cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. We couldn’t resist dessert and are so glad we didn’t. The peach cobbler and banana pudding cheesecake were ridiculously tasty—seriously, save room! Even our server - Celia was top notch. Highly recommend this place. We’ll definitely be back!

First time in Charleston area, found this restaurant near our hotel and glad we did. All wait staff we're awesome and very good at explaining the menu and preparation. The seafood is locally harvested and delicious. So if your visiting Charleston, Drive a few minutes to Mount Pleasant and give this place a try. You won't be disappointed. They were slammed we were a party of 7 and the manager worked us in without a reservation. The service and food were great especially the shrimp and grits. We will return.

What a hidden gem! A long-time local recommended this spot, and I had an amazing Easter brunch with my family here. Not only did our server go above and beyond, but the food was incredible! We got the Charleston Hot Fried Chicken Benedict, the John’s Island Fried Green Tomato Benedict, and, of course, Chicken and Waffles. I highly suggest updating your side to one of their gourmet grits!

Wedding Rehearsal Dinner Party - WONDERFUL! I really do not know where to begin, but Eli Kline is my fairy godmother. I live out of state and Eli was so AVAILABLE, CALM and helpful and caring and guided me through all the details of what we would need for my son's rehearsal dinner. THE FOOD IS TOP NOTCH - the chef is my fairy godfather, the serving staff were professional and kind and positive. The Camellia Room is quiet and peaceful and private and BEAUTIFUL. We had a sweet and memorable evening. EVERY one of my guests made a point to tell me how excellent the food was and how lovely the venue is and how they will be recommending to friends for future events. So thankful to the Klines and the G&G family.
