Grace and Grit hosted an engagement party for us and it was fabulous. Eli was efficient and organized and so kind throughout the process. She was present the day of the event to ensure all went smoothly. The food was delicious and plenty for all to enjoy!! The cost was reasonable and very well worth it. Please give Eli a call and plan your event at this amazing restaurant.

If you like grits at all you must come here! But beware you may never cook grits the same again. The grits flight and oysters Rockefeller had me blown away! The the Golden Tile fish over butterbeans and cream corn was superb!

I had cancer of the esophagus and the radiation treatments caused damages to the point where I am unable to swallow any solids at all. I asked Cameron if the She Crab soup could be thinned and strained, he checked with the chef and she accommodated me. She thinned it, strained it and ran it through the blender and it was wonderful and delicious. Another restaurant the evening before told me that they could not fulfill my request, I think that they were just being lazy. My wife had the Shrimp and Grits with Fried Green Tomatoes and they were delicious as well. I can't thank them all enough for their efforts, excellent customer service.

If I could give Grace and Grit 10 stars, I would! We used Grace and Grit for a client event and they were truly amazing. Eli who is the event coordinator for them is truly phenomenal at what she does and was so wonderful to work with. She is thorough, patient and kind! Our clients loved the event. It is a gorgeous venue and food is amazing!

The menu contained a lot of high fatty foods and sugar which is ruining America's health. The quiche was too creamy and had an apple garnish that was too sweet. The apple tartness should be balanced with much less sugar. The grapefruit was Brulé but too much sugar on top again. The chef would do well to cut back on the sugar and the fat and offer something other than fried chicken on several of the entrées because it is making Americans fat and is very bad for the health. Perhaps they should be updated in nutrition. I know the chef is trying to create unusual food but it's just not working for some of us who are health conscious and want cleaner food, less sugar and less fat.

We hosted a private client event at Grace and Grit and it went amazing! We booked everything remotely due to our home office being based in St. Louis, MO and from start to finish everything went smoothly.

Eli was an absolute pleasure to work with. She went the extra mile throughout our entire experience. For example, she gave us a video walkthrough of the space prior to booking. Day of the event she was onsite and took care of everything including a floral delivery for centerpieces. Truly one of the best event coordinators we’ve worked with.

The food was excellent. The shrimp and grits and smoked fish dip with pita were the favorites of the day.

We had two gentleman working our event, Cam and Andrew. Both are super friendly, respectful, and prompt. Cam and Andrew kept tables clear and drinks full the entire time. Our clients didn’t have to worry about anything which we really appreciated. They even boxed up all leftovers for us and helped us re-box our event sign to ship back to our office.

We will be using Grace and Grit again in the future for events and plan to visit for dinner when we are in the area again.

The food was very overpriced and not good. I had shrimp and grits. The shrimp was covered in gravy and still had the shell on them.

We hosted our daughter and son in law's wedding dinner reception. We live in Virginia and planning this event from two states away was daunting, but Eli made planning flawless and easy, answering every nervous mother of the bride question promptly with so much interest and attention to detail. We had some food allergies that were handled with ease. The food was delicious, the private dining area was perfect, the patio cozy. The service was impeccable. This was such a memorable experience from planning to the bride and groom's send off. Perfect in every way!

The food was absolutely amazing. We had the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer and the chef's special for dinner. Every portion of our meal was fantastic. We didn't leave room for dessert, but I was still sorely tempted.
