Something has changed...I don't know if there are new owners, but the past few times I have been in, it hasn't been good. Short staffed, limited selection and staff don't seem to care.

I used to really like this place but the last two times i’ve been here have been really disappointing. I came in asking for a plain bagel and the cashier said she would go look in the back to see if she had any, i said okay. she then comes back asking if the plain bagel was all and rang me up. when i got home i noticed it definitely wasn’t a plain bagel, maybe whole grain or something? i thought she may have mistaken the two so a couple weeks later (this morning) i came back and ask for a plain bagel. i get home and its rainbow??? with like raisins or fruit of some sort. i don’t think its that hard to tell the costumer that you’re out instead of charging me for something i didnt ask for

We have been on the hunt for a long time to find the best donut shop in Charleston and this is definitely it!! The donuts have great texture and are always fresh! Plus we love the large variety of flavors they offer! We love them so much we served their donuts at our wedding! Placing the large order ahead of time with Stevie was very easy! They were very accommodating and had the order ready to go when we arrived for pick-up! Thanks guys for help making our big day special!

Waited 20 minutes for stale bagels and 2 black coffees. Bagel had almost no cream cheese.
I doubt we'll try this place again.

Visited this place for the first time this morning and it was great! We ordered a cinnamon sugar donut and it tasted exactly like an elephant ear you’d get from the fair! I got a bacon, egg and cheese on an everything bagel and it was amazing! We will be back!

I don’t think I’ve ever written a bad google review, but I love Joeys Bag a Donuts, but recently they’ve gone down hill in my opinion. Probably twice a week I used to stop in right before work typically, and the best part was that I could call it in. Well recently with a bunch of new staff, they don’t seem to care. In the past month they’ve picked up the phone for a to-go order maybe twice when they used to pick up ever day, not to mention both times they messed my bagel up. I used to love Joeys but I’m not sure what it’s turned into now.

Breakfast sandwich was tasty and the staff went above and beyond for my daughter's birthday. Went in at 7am on a Thursday and the doughnut selection was great.

Decent spot for flavorful donuts. Felt a little disjointed with the ordering system, and donuts in the case didn't really seem to be labeled, but that may have been my vacation brain. :-)

The doughnut was one of the best I've ever had, I got the praline one. I have had some amazing donuts all across the country and this was by far one of my favorites. Highly recommend!

Excellent donuts. A bit on the pricey side at nearly $2.50/each. Worth it? I don't know. I think you get a better value for your money at your regular donut chain.
