The cookies are the best around in the area. They have Oatmeal raisin, sugar, peanut butter, chocolate chip cookies.The chess pie is very delicious and is a must try. They have the best dessert in the Mount pleasant area and they are well with the drive. They also have a chicken Cordon blue appetizers in their frozen section that are also one of my favorites to pickup.
If I could give 10 stars, I would! I can't say enough good things about Kudzu. Baked goods are incredible! Frozen food selection is amazing and delicious! Unique gifts and food products. I've never had service without a smile, and that is not easy when you are as busy as they are. Absolutely love this place!!!

After swearing years ago that I’d never go back to Kudzu on a busy day, I did just that this morning to pick up an order. Today was their last day open until after Christmas. It was very busy, took 45 minutes of waiting, but truly could not have been run any more smoothly. There is a number system now with a lighted sign to show which number is being served. Someone calls out the numbers, then directs you to the next cashier. People had time to shop while waiting or could sit outside. I had ticket 185, they called 133 as I grabbed it, and I was back in my car in 50 minutes. Good job, Kudzu, though I’m surprised to be saying it.

I absolutely love Kudzu Bakery. Their Bakers are so talented and they have the best little gifts and snacks available at their store.
So I had the Apple Walnut cake at a Halloween party a few days ago and I am smitten with it! I was in Mt. Pleasant today for other reasons and had to stop to get some for a friend because I was raving so much about it - oh and I got a piece for myself too! It’s so delicious and packed full of tart apples and lots of walnuts. The store has lots more than just baked goods, so will be going back when I have more time!

My only complaint about this place is the fact that there are fat and calories in the food. Ha ha. Seriously though, every single thing in the store is amazing. Their baked items are fantastic but also the prepared food items they sell are always a hit.
Yesterday I went to pick up my order & it was not available. Meg took ownership of the mistake & offered to bake the items & deliver to my house so I could make my function. When a business makes a mistake but go out of their way to correct it & provide awesome customer service that is rare in today's times.Thank you Meg for going above & beyond for customer service!

Nice selection of bakery and frozen items. Sometimes the service is not great but I get it. One thing is the cook times on the frozen items are way off. The chicken and pie I got came out cold/uncooked following the provided instructions. When planning a meal, make sure to account for extra cook time as needed.
