La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant

My family came in about 8:30pm and was met with great service, VERY tasty food, and fair prices. 10/10 would recommend if you are visiting Mount Pleasant and love Mexican style food.

I am hoping we just had a bad waiter, he was more interested in talking to another customer instead of taking care of the rest of his customers.

Nothing I can’t stand more than a restaurant that gets shitty with you when they make your food wrong. Then they take your food back to the kitchen, modify the old plate and bring it right back. No thanks!!!

I ordered a shrimp quesadilla and I got a tortilla and 6 shrimp. The tortilla is the size of maybe one small taco. Definitely not a quesadilla and expected it to be bigger and more put together.

Food wasn't hot. Pork was dry. My son said his burritos had the consistency of paper. The waiter was great.

Do not order food from here! They use old food! I seen a cook with tortilla chips in his bare hand and dumping a used tray in another. They rush the food nothing is ever presentable. I ordered a quesadilla, they threw it in a container no sauce as seen in the picture and it wasn’t even cut, my husband got the birria pizza sloppy thrown together little bit of meat, seemed to be pork and not beef!!! Red sauce not cooked in with the meat, it was pale. Please do not eat at this location! It’s not safe!

Are here tonight with a large party. We had made reservations ahead of time but despite doing that only got one server for 30 people. Service was slow and every order was messed up. I never was even offered the opportunity to order a beverage. It took 45 minutes just to get our bills. Started to become tempting to walk out without paying and I'm not sure our server would have even noticed. Never again!

First time customer tonight…won’t be my last! Restaurant is modern & lovely! Service was outstanding! Happy hour the best! Chips, mild and spicy salsas delish…but the queso was off the charts 😋 Ate so many I could only eat 1/4th of my meal…leftovers to go…woohoo! See you all again next week ☺️

I’ve always loved this place but the new chile relleno recipe with all the fluffiness is not it. The last recipe was so much better.
