I had the shrimp basket, which was good. Better than one's I've had at other restaurants. My brother got the shrimp pasta and he compared it to Applebee's, but it was good. Service was awesome and if you like a bar type atmosphere it was great. Would definitely go again.

Liberty on the Lake in Irmo is hands-down one of our favorite places to eat. The view alone is worth the visit, but the food and service make it truly special. Every meal we’ve had there has been fantastic — consistently fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared.
The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and on top of things, whether it’s a busy night or a laid-back afternoon by the water. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, and there’s just something about dining lakeside that never gets old.
If you’re looking for great food, an unbeatable view, and a restaurant that delivers every single time, Liberty on the Lake is the place. We absolutely love it and recommend it to everyone.

Food was okay, I had the pizza but to me the sauce was a little too sweet. Service or lack of, we were seated and waited 17 minutes until someone came and that was the manager and he was shocked we have not been waited on. But the overall atmosphere was very nice with the lake, the deck heaters and the football games being played.

Staff was kind but overloaded. Food was just OK. Bar food is good description. Asked for tollhouse pie. 25 minutes later we were told it was just made, burned. They were making it again. 10 minutes later a piece arrived...no whip cream, no ice cream, nothing. Outside was Luke warm, center was cold.

Second time here. Went for the fried oyster basket and that is wayyyy too ambitious. Fish sandwiches had a very strong fishy flavor which is not reassuring for haddock. The location is great but the food really needs to improve.

Came here to eat on the way to Columbia for the Gamecocks game. Beautiful venue for a reception or other large party. Two floors, both with bar service.
The menu had maybe ten items to choose from, but we all enjoyed our food.
We ate outside on the back patio where we had some sun and could see the boats on the piers.
The we walked around the place and took in the sights from upstairs as well.
Highly recommend for a quick bite, craft beer, and I could definitely see this place being the perfect spot for an anniversary, reunion, or rehearsal dinner.
