Wait staff is awesome and food is great! Try the Redneck .. sounds weird but is delicious!!!
Food was great!
My daughters (9&11) loved the Ebi Ebi roll (top roll in pic). I got the Mt Pleasant roll (bottom roll in pic), and would order them both again.

Walked in and ask if I could sit outside. The hostess asked if I wanted bar or table. I didn’t have a preference but was told she’s only walk me there if I got a table. I’d never been here before and told her that I didn’t know where I’d be going. I settled on a table so I’d actually be shown where to go. Odd but brushed it off. Bartender was taking care of everyone outside it appeared, which it wasn’t a busy time but seemed as if she had a lot going on at once. I ordered the roll I decided on and asked for a suggestion for a second. I went with what the server recommended. Not sure if there was a miscommunication but I was only brought the one roll the server recommended, I didn’t feel like asking where the second roll was. It was good and I’d go back here for sushi. I’ll make sure my full order is understood in the future.

We ordered a sushi roll and two hibachi dinners. Food was average but pricey. Waiter was terrible, he was more concerned with speaking with his co workers than service. Never received refills and when we asked for something, he basically brushed it off, had to ask him again and his response this time was that someone else was getting it. This was our first time and won’t be back.

Very pleasant sports bar with the extra twist of very tasty sushi. Shrimp tempura and asparagus bites both good starters. Nice selection of beers on tap. Recommend.

Charlotte and Trinity are amazing! Consistently great food, they love our fur babies, great drinks, can see why Locals is a local favorite.

Locals in Mt. pleasant is the best location of all of them in my opinion. Although they are usually very busy, especially on the half sushi rolls day, they have a lot of indoor and offer outdoor seating. I also like that they have live music playing on Monday nights. We were able to snag a couple seats in the back and avoid the wait. They don’t take reservations so you want to get there at a decent time on Mondays.
My husband is gluten-free and he was able to order off of their gluten-free menu, which was really nice. The sushi here is pretty good quality, and we love to come here on Monday nights.
We inhaled our sushi rolls so I forgot to take any photos 😆 but I love the spicy salmon, mt. Pleasant roll and eel roll.

This restaurant used to be great, but now it is a rip off. They charge $2.50 just for takeout. The bang shrimp and calamari was cold, undercooked and a very small portion (coleslaw was boring too!). The sauce they used to drizzle on top was either axed or forgotten. I picked it up right away, but it was cold and soggy. The queso was nothing special. Spent $26 for two appetizers. Only good for sushi on Monday’s (bc special on sushi); just be sure to sit down and get to-go box. What a disappointment, Locals!

The food is meh - weird to have sushi , wings and burgers on the same menu . The sushi always falls apart and the fish in the sushi is not generous. It’s good on Monday when it’s half price . My girlfriends and I enjoy an after work Locals Monday. However, if we really want sushi we go to Wasabi on DI.

They’ve got some good food but respectfully, the music was terrible (when I was there it was a playlist of quite cringy throwback songs)

Saved up all week to treat myself to sushi. Ordered pacific roll, eel roll, crispy rice with tuna, and one other speciality roll. So forgettable it’s laughable. For starters, our tuna crispy rice was not crispy. It was just regular rice encased in some unidentifiable tempura thing. It tasted awful. The top mostly had imitation crab and the tuna was the smallest piece of Tuna I have ever come across. Additionally, every single one of our rolls had a very tiny piece of fish. For the price we payed, this was unacceptable. To see if we were overreacting, I had a friend try it and she literally had to spit it out it was so inedible. Money wasted and we had to find something else for dinner. I am very surprised people were raving about this. Should’ve expected poor quality at a sports pub. Go literally anywhere else.
