We were in Mount Pleasant for a birthday weekend and stumbled upon Lola's for its close proximity to where we were staying. The food and service were exceptional. I had the veg risotto which did not disappoint. Our server Ari S. was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and was perfect in every way he took care of the four of us. We will definitely return to Lola's again.
The food was delicious and flavor forward in true Louisiana style. I loved the fried green tomatoes in the red sauce and pepper jack cheese which surprised me. I had eaten half of it before it tried the sauce which made it all come together perfectly!
We tried the étouffée with shrimp and crawfish that was a star dish as well as the risotto with good, fresh shrimp.

Very nice and unique restaurant.
I loved the muscle appetizer with the alligator bites.
