Great to have this restaurant in the neighborhood. Chef and Serving Staff are great!!! Food was amazing. Have done two dinners and their Sunday Brunch!!! Not just convenient, but competes with some of the best downtown or in south Mount Pleasant. Great golden tilefish!! Salads are fresh and flavorful. Able to accommodate for dietary restrictions. Don’t miss.

As we were new to the area, we weren’t sure what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. Not only was the ambience trendy, but our waiter made our experience even better as he was lively and quite funny. Everything we ordered was delicious - peach salad, pizza, tuna tartare and the market fish. What a find! Will definitely return.

Nice clean atmosphere. Food was great. You can tell it's freshly made and very unique. I got the gnocchi (forgot to take a pic) and it was excellent. Not like any other gnocchi I've had before, it was a clear, oil, wine?, lemon based sauce..? Idk the menu doesnt say. but it was really good. Araninci are excellent too. Definitely going back

Lola Rose was a great experience for authentic Mediterranean food! Lauren was our server and she was very gracious and clearly knowledgeable about everything on the menu. We tried one of the signature cocktails from the bar and it was excellent. A great place to go for a romantic dinner. We’ll be back!

Amazing food, as I got the pasta (Homemade), and great little restarant that anyone can go to!

Sorry to say that I was not impressed with my dish. I love tarvin shrimp and was looking forward to this pasta dish. The taste was good, the shrimp was lacking in quantity. I am not sure if there were even two shrimp in the dish, as they cut the shrimp into small pieces. Same with my husband and his scallop dish, described as with cauliflower, a very small amount. The fluffy bread was tasty and warm. I didn’t take a photo since it didn’t look like like the ones I have seen on the posts here. The only good thing is that it is close by and convenient to get to. In the future, I will stick with pizza and salad.

Portions are smaller. We had two appetizer and two entrees and dessert. Everything tasted amazing. When we asked the server a few specific menu questions, one question being a protein potion size (answered vaguely- “um medium size”). The second question was to describe a dish we were not familiar with but the staff member was not able to answer. Good thing there is google.

I honestly don't understand why this place doesn't get much better reviews then it does. It hands down is the best restaurant in all of North Mt. Pleasant. Great ambiance, friendly staff, innovative cuisine (try finding other restaurants with the creativity of this menu in North Mt pleasant) fantastic cocktails, solid wine list, indoor and outdoor seating, approachable pricing for the quality of the food you're receiving, killer desserts, basically almost everything you would receive from eating at a restaurant downtown but without the high price tag, 25 minute drive, lack of parking, etc that you would get from going downtown. Don't get me wrong there's a time and place for going downtown and the caliber of downtown is of course higher than Lola Rose but it's dang close in some respects and the convenience factor sometimes Trump's the whole process of going downtown. If people don't like this restaurant it just shows the bad taste that all us transplants coming from Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, etc. have in restaurants. It just proves that only the large chain restaurants like mellow mushroom, PF Chang's ,(or mediocre Mexican restaurants) etc thrive in a place like Mt. Pleasant... which is sad. We need more great restaurants like this in North Mt. Pleasant honestly, so please don't listen to the reviews and make a decision for yourself and go have lunch or dinner at Lola Rose and you will see how good it really is. And don't sleep on the pizza, it's fantastic! However the pasta dishes I think could be the star of the show. Get one of each and you won't be disappointed.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pasta

Kid-friendliness: We were there at 5pm with our 7 year old and it was easy breezy.

The food, staff, and environment are excellent. I had the prosciutto-wrapped swordfish with squash purée and brown butter vinaigrette, and it was absolutely outstanding! Each bite was perfectly balanced, and the presentation was elegant. A must-try if you’re in the area! Chef Hunter is a living legend ?
