Brenda and I had an excellent dinner tonight at Lola Rose a fantastic new Mediterranean restaurant in Mount Pleasant. Upon arriving we were immediately seated at a great booth and noticed a fresh exciting vibe of mostly happy locals. Brittany our server brought sparkling water and started us off with 2 great Martinis and a perfectly prepared Tuna Tartare. For our main course we had Shrimp Provencal and a Margarita Pizza both absolutely delicious. Lola Rose is a hidden gem in Park West with gourmet food and awsome service by sever Brittany. We highly recommend Lola Rose for a fun neighborhood casual dining experience.

Tonight was my fifth time going to LR. I come back for the meatballs. Best ever! Agree with some folks that if you don’t like salty, you may need to ask them to back off a bit. All in allSolid food and drinks. Have always thought the vibe was great. Friendly staff.Tonight was not the same. They have a manager I have never seen. She walked around with a frown, circling and just looking at everyone. To make matters worse, my friend got locked in the bathroom and after several tries and 10-15 mins she was out. Manager acted like it was her fault and that she didn’t know how to unlock the door. We thought it was comical at first. I went to ask my friend if is she was ok and had my camera on thinking it would be fun to send her husband and laugh about later. The manager boldly told me to shut it off and walk away. Fast forward, not once did she apologize or come to our table. Sweet waitress apologized and our $51 bill of a couple appetizers was comped. I care little about the comp. I care a lot about the lack of empathy and professionalism of this manager. Will wait on turnover before I return. To emphasize, I do not leave reviews but she should not be in management.

Great food and service. Our waiter was Noah and he was “spot on” with a great personality.Vegetarian options: They have different salad, pizza and entree options for vegetarians. Ask if you want anything like that and they will let you know if they can make it vegetarian.

First visit and was really excited to try this place as we live just 5 minutes away. Cool layout, nice vibe, open kitchen, cool bar. The service was EXCELLENT, Thank you Brittney! Started with the spicy Tequila cocktail, which we both ordered and our glasses were oddly filled. Mine half filled, my wife’s 3/4 filled. The table next to us ordered one and it was completely filled. So the bartender tried to make both at the same time for us and came up short. The fluffy cheese app is tasty and the bread is AMAZING. The fried mixto app was underwhelming and a small portion. For entrees we got the grouper and the shrimp & sausage. Both extremely underwhelming for the price and the grouper was a bit fishy tasting but not in a good way. The shrimp dish was a very small portion for the price. The chocolate, graham tart was very good. Paired with a cynar was a good ending. We will try this spot again as the service was great and there were enough good moments to warrant another try. We also had a bottle of Vhino Verde to pair with our entrees. Before tip, our bill was $200. Left feeling slightly “not worth it” but like I mentioned, we will give it another try.

First time dining in and not impressed at all!Drinks took 20 minutes, not kidding!Asked for a straw another 10 minutes...Bread and Pizza was good but everything else was disappointing. I ordered Seafood Scampi and it was way too oily and not too mention the seafood portion were silly, maybe 2 or 3 pieces of mussels and chopped up shrimp, I couldn't believe it. My kids didn't even touch the Pasta with sauce after one bite, so I decided to taste it myself and they were right just awful way too much oregano and herbs that was overwhelming the marinara sauce. It is unfortunate because we were so excited to have a new place to go as we desperately need more eateries in North Mount Pleasant.

Lola mount pleasant is my new favorite spot! The positive energy here is contagious! Cadyn and Jennifer behind the bar are wonderful and continue to entertain us! Every drink and dish is excellent.

The food at Lola Rose is very good, as we expected. We have been to The Grocery and had a wonderful meal there, so we anticipated good things. We were not disappointed. Focaccia was fresh and delicious. Margherita pizza was very good. The special fish dish with saffron was excellent! Desserts were tasty and well-portioned. Service was friendly, and ambiance was warm and inviting. We will definitely go back!

The first time was great, the second time was better! We chose to wait for spots at the bar because that is what we like. The staff could not have been nicer about our chosen longer wait. All in all well worth it. The Friday night staff at the bar including Marcella (sorry if I miss spelled that) are so wonderful. Kitchen did great, loved the food.
