Mai Poke- Oakland Market

So I figured I’d give this place a shots since they sent a mailer out to my neighborhood with some coupons. I was going to use the little coupon they gave me and they said that it was for açai bowls only when literally all it says on it is that it would give 15% off on a $20 order dine-in or take-out. Don’t like the bait and switch tactics. The poke isn’t the worst but I would still say Poke Bros is better.

So happy to have an Acai and poke location in North Mount Pleasant! Both are generous portions and taste great. The Dole Pineapple/Mango whip is worth the trip alone!

Wanted to try this place. Had it delivered, there was an actual cockroach in the sealed bag that the food came in.
Edit: I eventually opened the food to find hair in the sealed container of food. Nope Nope and Nope!

So, I ordered the Greek bowl just before closing and brought it home to share with my daughter. First, the pita was stale but second the meat tasted off. Against our judgement, we ate it. Both my daughter and I had stomach cramps, diarrhea and vomit. Once feeling better, I phoned the manager. She remembered me and told me the meat is frozen and taken out for the day. She simply said sorry to hear that. Well that’s great! Thanks for the five pound weight loss but could have done without the cramps.

Really cute place. Really nice staff. Love the options. My only complaint is that the fruit in the acai bowl didn't seem fresh. It was pretty mushy. I ended up taking out the raspberries because it was almost like jam consistency. Because of that, I don't think I'll order the acai bowl again. But would love to try the poke next time I'm out that way

Fresh and delicious with fabulous service. I had the Honolulu Hottie and it was so good. They offer whole bowls and half which is nice as well as acai bowls and smoothies. Will definitely be one of my regular spots.

So delicious the first time that the next day I went again. The first time I ordered online for pickup and it was super easy, second day I ordered in person and received great service once again. I tried the Volcano bowl, Honolulu Hottie, and the Leilani. All of them were delicious. The Honolulu was spicier than the Volcano if you are wondering, and the picture attached is the volcano. Big fan of the marinated tuna anf the cucumber and the seaweed salad, I also liked the sweet onions rather than the green onions it was a bit different and more fun.

Tonight was my first time eating here! WOW, os all I can say, the girls working were very helpful, service was great! Food was OUT OF THIS WORLD good! I will definitely be coming back! Thank you for bringing such a great quality restaurant to Mt. Pleasant!!
