Malika Canteen - Mt. Pleasant, SC / Pakistani & Indian Restaurant

My recent visit to Malika Canteen in Mount Pleasant was a letdown. Despite the promising menu and cozy ambiance, I found the dishes overpriced and the quality lacking. The simplicity of the meals did not justify the steep prices. I expected more for what I paid, especially in terms of flavor and presentation. Sadly, I left feeling disappointed rather than satisfied.

Very bad experience. Quantity of food was surprisingly small compared to the price. I got 3 tiny gulab jamuns for 8 bucks!

We had to wait a very long time to dine in, for no reason. Some tables were empty without reservations. After all these waiting and spending 65 bucks, not satisfied at all. Taste was okay.

Never again. Thank you.

My son loves this place, so I wanted to see what all the fuzz was all about. A very tasty alternative to all the other same old cuisine in Mount Pleasant. I loved the Lamb Wrap, Chicken Pizza, Naan Bread and Rice. I ordered spicy, which was very spicy, so be aware when you order food here. The service was friendly and warm. We will be back.

We had an incredible experience! Our food had the best flavor and our server was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable regarding the dishes and spices! We will definitely be returning!

This restaurant is exquisite! Great energy, excellent flavors. They have sweatshirts for sale! Everything was amazing! We will definitely be returning!

It was dirty and nasty inside and my waiter was rude and laughed when I was drinking my water so I think he did something to it

Waited ten minutes to get seated so we just left. They kept looking at us. Horrible service compared to our first time there.

This restaurant is amazing. I'm a huge fan of Indian food but have never tried Pakistani -- and I love trying nee cuisines. I was excited to see this pop up when searching for restaurants. I wanted something fairly light so I went for the Hara Bhara naan pizza but added chicken for a good protein punch. O.M.G. my mind is blown. I was supposed to take a photo before I ate but it looked so good and I scarfed that piece down so fast. I have a very small appetite so this is enough for 4 meals for me but I think it's a good size and a great price for anyone else. The flavors are amazing. The little bit of heat from the chili oil is so good. It's not very spicy to me - about the heat of chili crisp -- but the flavor it adds is perfect. Highly recommend. I got it to go and it was ready quickly. They were very kind on the phone and friendly when I walked in. Great atmosphere too!

There was raw chicken in my chicken tikka masala. I did not spend $30 for undercooked meat.😐
