I was really looking forward to eating here on my visit to the area. Unfortunately, this place is temporarily closed and being renovated due to undergoing new ownership. The hours were not updated so we ended up driving over 30 min to find it closed. Also tried to call but no answer.

The wait staff was nice even though they seemed stretched a little thin. Hopefully the air conditioning not being on is a temporary thing. Tables are kinda

Great atmosphere and people. Perfect location for North Mount Pleasant. Just need to navigate a bit to get to it, going through Brickyard or the windy road near the bank. Plenty of parking, and safe to leave your car if you have too many. Amy and Billy are great bar tenders. Try the wings, Irish nachos or Rueben. They still have a pool table an the claw machine. Mini and normal corn hole. Light years ahead of Mccan's awful management since the pandemic. It's a good time. Very laid back, and cold beer.

This neighborhood bar is tucked into a small shopping center near Brickyard, and is a good place to get a Guinness / Harp or your favorite local brew. Happy hour was very busy at the bar, but we wanted to get a bite to eat as well, so grabbed a table. The table top was a bit sticky from previous beer drinkers, and it took a visit to the bar to get a menu and service, but after that we got a lot of attention. We stayed for the traditional Irish music performed on the 2nd and 3rd Tuesday of the month. Honestly, I was surprised that there was not a bigger crowd after the happy hour revelers left!! Some people travel half way around the world to hear local musicians play jigs and reels!! And, this group of about 10-12 accomplished musicians were fantastic just sitting-in. Jamming--some perhaps never having played together. If you have any interest at all in Celtic music you owe it to yourself and your friends to check it out! No cover either. They wander in and start about 7 or so, but you might call ahead to be sure if these musicians are poppin in. The ambience is unmatched for this as far as I know in the area, and I hope they continue this so it becomes a traditional happening.Oh -and by the way- the fish and chips were quite tasty, and the beer was just right! We will definitely plan a return visit.

Not a great first impression! We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon to grab lunch and try this place out. There was no hostess and it was pretty full. Not wanting to take up a table for four when it was just the two of us we chose a spot at the bar. A bar tender looked at us as we sat down but it must not have been their section as they never came over to take our order. We waited another few minutes and another bar tender came out , but still no acknowledgment. We waited while they both cleaned up behind the bar thinking maybe they were just trying to catch up. After about five minutes another couple walked in and moved next to us and the second bar tender went right to them, still ignoring us, and asked what they would like! We decided it was time to leave as they were clearly ignoring us. Just based on first impressions I would have to say they don't even rate. Save yourselves time and frustration and go anywhere else but Baileys.
