Best German restaurant I have been to in my entire life. Nick is the man. Sabrina is the woman. Amazing customer named Bruce also. Couldn't be better!

This restaurant is tucked away in a very unassuming spot, but don’t let that fool you. The food, the wine, and the service were all outstanding! This is one of Charleston’s hidden gems.

My favorite german restaurant I've ever been to. A must stop for us when we're in town, and it will be a regular stop for us when we move to the area. Love the schnitzels and the specials are usually fantastic. Wait staff has always been fantastic, very knowledgeable, and provide great service.

Nick's German Kitchen never disappoints! Some may think the dining area is small in comparison to other restaurants but I see and feel cozy, warm, welcoming, romantic ambiance with friendly smiling staff all happy to be serving Nick's amazing German delights. You are sure to leave craving more each time. Dining at Nick's German Kitchen feels like home! Thank you!

First time to Nick's. Spouse and I both ordered the Chicken Paprika Schnitzel and a bottle of wine. The chicken was pretty good but needed something. All I could think was a breading or cream sauce, something. It's essentially just a skinless breast of chicken with some seasoning. Menu says it's a bell pepper sauce, but couldn't really pick any particular taste out... it's a thin, invisible sauce. Saw the manager/owner (?) visiting guests and overall service was very attentive. It's a nice, low-key restaurant and I see the menu has many more entrees with breading and cream sauces so we'll probably go back and try something else.

Third time we have dined at Nicks and we have never been disappointed. Authentic as it gets, from the food to the service. Everything was excellent and we would highly recommend to all of our foodie friends.

This was one of the best restaurant meals I’ve had in a decade! Items we ordered from both the regular menu and specials board were amazing. The creamed sauerkraut on the bratwurst appetizer we had is not to be missed. Portion size was perfect and service was exceptional.

Yum! We got a reservation outdoors and it was cozy with blankets and a heater! The environment plus the authentic German cuisine was just what we were looking for! Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our dinner at Nick's. Nick greeted us along with his wife. The Wiener schnitzel was delicious. The petit salad and pretzel as a starter were awesome. We had made to order apple strudel for dessert - wonderful! Everything was delicious and we can't wait to go back and try something else.

Highly recommend! I had the Jager Schnitzel, and the pork melted in my mouth. It was the perfect balance of rich and savory. The pork was perfectly cooked, tender, and melted in my mouth. The mushroom sauce was not too heavy. It was perfectly balanced with the noodles. I paired it with a nice pinot Grigorieva. The service and ambiance is on point!

Wanted to switch things up and decided to try Nicks since the reviews were so positive. Authentic German food every single item was absolutely delicious! Our Server Michelle explained each special so well one of us actually switched to one of the specials and so glad we did!
