I was confused on their hours, so I accidentally went when they were closed after lunch. They made my order even though they were closed and everything tasted amazing! I will definitely be going back

was very excited to visit the vendor after looking up the ratings online. Made an effort to make it there once in Mt. P (we are from Murrells Inlet - fyi;) only to find that the restaurant is closed on Sundays. Disappointed as the google continues to advertise its services and claims it is open on Sundays till 10 pm. This review is meant to highlight the issue; otherwise - no hard feelings: we’ll keep trying because now we know where you are! 🤣👋🏻

Full disclaimer: Chef Toan is a friend — but this review comes from the heart (and stomach)!
I haven’t tried the official Mi Xao menu yet, but I’ve had the rare treat of enjoying Chef Toan’s off-menu creations, and every single dish has been outstanding.
From a Vietnamese-style steamed fish (yes, the one we caught ourselves!) to seafood pasta, sashimi with his signature dipping sauce, perfectly cooked beef steak — and even Southern-style shrimp & grits — he nailed every flavor.
If the dishes on the menu are even half as good as what we’ve had, then trust me: you’re in very good hands.

They are so nice! We ordered for pick up and it was ready within 15 minutes. It was packaged nicely and was still hot when we got it home. Have eaten a lot of Vietnamese food in different states and this by far is in my top 3!

This place was amazing. We have eaten pho all over the US and the chicken pho was delicious. Papaya salad was great too and the shrimp were so fresh. Very nice owners. We will be back for sure!

We got the noodle salad, tofu stir fry, fresh spring rolls, and papaya salad. All so good and the family service was friendly! We asked for extra spicy and they delivered on our request.

This was the 2nd time we’ve eaten here, the food is just so good! Unpretentious, well made and the folks are very friendly. We live in New York City so our standards for Vietnamese food is very high, the sautéed beef cubes here are among the best we’ve had. Highly recommend!

Quick service and turnaround and unbelieve value with the food. The mother is hilarious and you will be left with singing taste buds. Great food.
