Stopped in today on our way back over the bridge from the beach. Talk about great sandwiches!!!. Had the Fatboy and it was on par with any NYC or Montreal smoked meat sandwich! It was busy but well worth the wait to see them do everything right there infront of you. The staff was very patient even when some patrons were not quite as pleasant, good to see the food was NYC style but the manners were true SC! This will be a repeat visit on or next trip too!

We were visiting from NY and the menu looked amazing, but then the front desk at our hotel said our trip would not be complete if we did not go there! Boy was she right! I got the Balboa and I will be dreaming about this sandwich until we can go back and visit again! The person who helped us at the counter knew some sandwiches for kids and made recommendations on the bread and even though it was just a turkey and cheese the kiddos said it was the best sandwich they ever had! I wish we could have gone back one more time before we left!

Love this place, been here easily 100 times, probably closer to 200. But the price increases are getting out of hand. My favorite sandwich was $11.50 two years ago and is now $17. There is no amount of inflation to justify that. Just take it off the menu if costs went up that much, don’t insult your customers. Second, don’t charge more for direct online orders. Don’t penalize your customers for making your life easier. They aren’t using uber eats or DoorDash who is charging a fee. Last, tighten up the quality control. They are increasingly leaving things out of orders, like the $5 cinnamon roll I paid for this morning that wasn’t in the bag. The food is always great, the people are always nice, seems like they have just started taking advantage of their popularity.

My wife and I stopped after my doctor’s appointment last week before heading back home to Myrtle Beach. We had wanted to stop for some time now. They did not disappoint!!! Employees were very friendly and the food was absolutely amazing!!!! I had the Eggplant Parmesan sub that was stacked with such flavorful eggplant! My wife had a margarita sandwich and added eggplant. She said it was so delicious. We both got a small container of pasta salad, both trying different ones. I had the pimento cheese and chicken one that was out of this world with so many flavors going on! My wife said hers was in incredible also but I don’t know the name of hers. It was some type of rice mix salad. We will definitely be back!

In a plaza so easy free parking. One of the order at the deli counter, pay cashier, they bring it to you place. Had their version of Italian, you get choice of bread I had cibata . Was about $10 . Good sandwich word definitely go back and try others .

Solid deli in the Mt. Pleasant area of Charleston. It has the hussle and bustle of a New York city delicatessen, but in a charming suburb of South Carolina. We arrived at around noon, and the place was busy and only getting busier.
We got the Cali Club on ciabatta and the Muffaletta on a Kaiser roll. The bread choice was based on an employee recommendation. My partner and I each split our sandwiches and loved them both for different reasons.
Service was fast, especially for the number to people ordering. It's worth the drive.

I’ve always loved this place, but… there were 20 people behind the counter and NOT ONE of them was cleaning the dining area or the tables — everything was filthy, and the staff behind the counter were just standing around doing nothing.

They recently did some renovations, but outside it’s still full of rubble and dust. The hygiene level is extremely low.

I grabbed a pudding (expiration date 5/11), and it was already 5/24. When we pointed it out, they checked all the puddings and all of them were expired — but they didn’t remove them from the display. They just left them there.
