I wanted an item & they didn’t have it. 2nd time it’s happened. You don’t use chili as a substitute. Never in that case.
I had to stop by Sweetgrass Mercantile to mail a jacket that a VCU Band member left in the Chucktown Sound storage room at TD Arena during the Charleston Classic. We noticed a small diner attached to the building and decided to try it out.
What we discovered was this hidden gem of a diner. In addition to having a fantastic menu and set up, the place serves breakfast all day.

Not Just Franks Cafe offers good food at high prices, set in a small outdoor lunch counter with picnic atmosphere. Customers appreciate the generous portions like the chicken bacon ranch sammich and the cowboy breakfast burrito, both reasonably priced. The breakfast burrito is fantastic, filled with delicious meat, cheese, eggs, and tomatoes, toasted perfectly. The coffee is solid, and the seating and atmosphere are very pleasant and relaxed. The owner, Aaron, is friendly and happy to chat with customers. The cafe serves breakfast and lunch all day until closing at 3pm, with good prices and good food.
