I've been to this Panera at least 7 or 8 times since it opened and I'm fairly certain I haven't gotten an order that was both correct and of reasonable quality once in those visits. From missing items, to orders not being done for 15 minutes after they were marked as done, to moldy fruit, to cold coffee; it never fails, that it fails. It's probably been a year since the last visit. I was really hoping they'd improved. I showed up and the order wasn't ready - turned out it was because they were out of the soup I wanted (and didn't mark it as being out in the app). Fine...annoying, but no big deal, really. But the lady working checked the bag, checked the receipt, checked the bag, checked the receipt...then asked the guy, everything was in here except the soup, right? Yep! She closed it up and off I went. When I got outside I thought, I'll just double check anyway. Sure enough the cookie wasn't in there. Literally 4 items on the receipt, 2 people checking the bag, and they couldn't get everything in there. No apology. Neither one actually cared. And to top it off, it was rock hard to the point I couldn't even eat it. This location is seriously pathetic, every single time I'm here. Food, service, everything. It's amazing they stay in operation.

Ham, Egg, and Cheese on a Cinnamon Crunch Bagel. Are you kidding me? 2 extremely! thin slices of ham. 1 of the smallest eggs! Over $8.00 for this? Saddest piece of food. Okay Panera's let's make money.

I ordered food online. I paid for it and picked it up at the drive through. I got home, it was WRONG!!!! I called them and told them the receipt was correct but they gave me the wrong food! THere was NOTHING they could do about it, and they could CARE LESS!!! Terrible Service in the 1135 Muhlenbergia Dr, Ste 103,Mt Pleasant, SC 29466 store. I will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE...and there is NO WHERE to complain to the company! SHAME ON PANERA!

I ordered chicken noodle soup bowl for almost $11.00 and there was one piece of chicken and one noodle in the whole bowl. The rest was just chicken broth. What a rip off! I will never order from here again!

I ordered via Door Dash, and I got someone else's order. I spoke to the manager, Gabriel, and he did a great job fixing it. I'm very attentive! But when I got it , the side was wrong, and the sandwich looked like one of the worst I've ever had. Then I had to drive 8 miles to get it! I wasn't happy.

Every time I come here my food is never what I expect it to be for the price I’m paying. I’m not usually one to leave a bad review but this is getting out of hand. Today my French onion soup was missing the cheese so I asked about it and they handed me a bag of cheese to put on myself even though it is supposed to be broiled on top. And my Mac and cheese is ice cold, not even luke warm like if usually is. This is ridiculous. Now I have to go home and reheat my food because the people who work here couldn’t be bothered to make it right the first time. Seriously the Mac and cheese comes in bags all they have to do it heat them up.

Horrible. Ordered online and they marked it ready to be picked up. I showed up and they had not even started it yet. I ordered soup with extra croutons and a chicken sandwhich and PAID for double meat. What I received was soup, with zero croutons and a tomato and bread sandwich, no meat. Also did not receive my 2 drinks and was told they were closing. It was 7:15pm ??

We walked in and perhaps this is the new norm for Panara… but once we made eye contact with whoever was at the register, they hid and never came back out until we asked one of them to come out.(Quite a while with no one at the register) Once we got the guy to come out, he seemed stressed or I guess just annoyed at our existence like it’s not his job. (this still not being the girl originally at the register who was very obviously still in the back, peeking to see if anyone is around) Which I mean, idk it could just be the new norm and the registers are for show. Asked for a chai, received coffee. My wife went back there to ask for a remake, and the first person she got a hold of said, “sorry I’m just a baker, can you ask someone else”. While I appreciate the apology, I feel it’s still partially her job as the only person not 100% avoiding the window, to get someone who can help us. When we asked for it to be remade, you could hear them in the back say “that’s too much”…. Surprise! When we got the chai, they had messed up the proportions really badly. Super empty but on our way out: 1 car at the drive thru, you could over them discussing how “busy” they are, and they’ll have to come inside to place the order…. At the kiosk…. You know…. Because no one wants to be at the register. As decent as the food is, this customer service is hard to push past, so idk it’ll definitely be a while before I consider coming back. In all honesty, this issue only seems to be growing.

To whom it may concern. I write this message to you as a very frustrated and extremely loyal customer of Panera bread. I’ve eaten it many Panera breads around the country. I believe that the quality is always high, the food is delicious, the customer service is always fantastic. And when my wife and I found out that a brand new Panera bread was coming to our neighborhood, in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. You could imagine the excitement that we both had. Unfortunately, I’m contacting you today because I’ve had enough frustration, discussed and outright terrible customer service. Someone an upper management needs to come to the store, at first, I thought it was growing pains of a brand new franchise. But our last 10 visits seem to have some sort of issue with the food, the wait time, the employees, communication or the customer service. Today I’ve been into a chicken sandwich, which has some sort of sticky slime covering all of the smoked chicken on the chipotle chicken sandwich. I thought I was going to be sick. When I called the Panera bread to let them know something was wrong with the chicken and two double check it before someone else gets sick as well. When I asked to speak to a manager, The employee who answered the phone said why, and proceeded to be short and quite rude with me After waiting several minutes, I did get a chance to speak with Joyce. Who confirmed that they are having some issues with some of the employees at this particular Panera bread. Joyce was lovely, she was nice, patient and empathetic. I don’t write you as a angry or pissed off customer. I write you as a disappointed, loyal fan of Panera bread. Upper management and the brand of Panera bread should be embarrassed at the way that this location is representing its national brand. We will not be returning to this Panera bread until there is confirmation that there has been major improvements at this location.

Today we tried Panera Bread. Very disappointing. I had Steak & White Cheese. The skimpy amount of steak for $12.99 is shameful. The boss had the chicken & Pepperoni Melt $12.99.No need for any Italian Restaurant to fear this as any competition. Lousy tasting. Again a lot of money for what it was. Let me tell you the one thing I loved. I observed a Grandfather and Grandmother working there. I spoke to the lady asked her and said she was welcomed to work there. This a true compliment to the manager who hired people willing to work and having the best work ethic. Well done! More companies need to do the same! Skip this place unless you want to support a company that hires folks wanting to work and not taking age as a reason not to hire people.

Three times and I’m out! Usually I love Panera, but not this location. Problems with my order 3 times..out of salad ingredients, order not properly made (no apples on my Fuji apple salad!), espresso machine not working. Very disappointing.

Caesar Salad was the size of a small salad, $9.95 and croutons were stale and rubbery.Staff could not figure out how to print a receipt for me, and didn’t actually know that one would print to be distributed with my order.See pic same price salads ?
