They are very petty restaurant, especially the owners and the manager. I hope your restaurant closes down and I hope no one comes there anymore. Non-locals go back to your state or country. If you are a local do not spend your money here, Justin and Dimitri are some very unprofessional people and so is the staff!

Justin outdid himself tonight. This was the best thanksgiving meal that we ever had. Turkey was so moist. The salmon and brussels sprouts scrumptious. The fried calamari was delicious and same with fried spinach appetizer. Then to end the meal, Justin brought us the best chocolate cake ever, omg, I can’t breathe but so worth it. Love philosophia ❤️

Love, love, love Philosophia! Have been 5-6 times and it has been wonderful each time. The shrimp appetizer in the ouzo cream sauce is my favorite.

Cute little Mediterranean restaurant. We had the hummus and octopus salad as appetizers, which was good but the homemade limoncello was delicious. Main course I had the Kakavia which is a seafood medley in a tomato based sauce which was good and my wife had the braised lamb shank which was a hit! Overall a great place for good Greek and Mediterranean food. Good job!

Unfortunately, we had a less than stellar experience at Philosophia a few nights ago. We enjoy fine dining frequently and have been here before about a year ago. After being seated, no one came to our table for nearly 15 minutes. Finally the hostess filled our water glasses after 10+ minutes. It appeared that the server had our table (inside mid way) was pouring wine, and had tables to serve outside. We finally got our order placed over 40 minutes after seating (by the owner who came by to ask how things were since our server was MIA). Pita wedges were bland, some soggy, others stale. The 3 spreads had zero flavor. My wife's salmon was terribly overcooked (not burned but cooked to well done- and was overly firm due to grossly overcooked). The lamb shank, while well cooked lacked flavor on the sauces and the risotto was very bland). Our server never came back to check on us after food delivery, and another server (who we'd not even seen at this point) ended up bringing us the check. We had 3 entrees, 2 appetizers, a bottle of white wine and 2 glasses of red (3 people) so it'd be nice to have the server check on you when you're spending $250 or so on dinner..... Overall, there are much better dining establishments, in terms of quality and service in our culinary-based city, that we'll be visiting next time.....

I really liked the atmosphere and the food was really tasty. Didn't take long for everything to come out and the prices were decent.

I’ve seen so many excellent reviews and when we had a free Friday, we decided to try and grab bar seats. Luckily there were a few open. My photo quality is awful but we’ve lived in Charleston for a year and a half and have tried SO many restaurants. I’d put Philosophia in the top 5. Great service, unique and well balanced cocktails, upscale atmosphere (even in a strip mall), and of course, DELICIOUS food. Not a bad bite. Absolutely recommend the spanakorizo and the pastitsio. The braised lamb was also to die for. And very reasonable prices. We will be back (very soon)!!

Philosophia was exceptional from the greet at the front with one of the owners Dimitri until the end of dinner service. Our food and service was excellent! The NY Strip was outstanding, cooked to perfection with a sauce that was absolutely delicious. Also the side of potatoes were crispy and fluffy on the inside with lots of flavor. Executive Chef Justin stopped by to check on us and was very pleasant. We tried the pistachio and coffee chip gelato which were amazing for dessert. Thank you Philosophia for an amazing experience!!
