Update: The Owner/Manage Shannon McAloon was very responsive to the review and sent mean email also. I appreciate that in business. Bumping up the stars on the fact that she wants things right at her location.

It was good. I wanted Blueberry, Strawberry and Banana acai bowl.
She charged me for the Nutella one, but I didn't want Nutella- charged me for the Blueberries (which I get), but got charged for honey instead of swapping it for the Nutella. It was almost $18. Thats crazy.

These nutella açaí bowls keep us going through the workday. They’re healthy just trust the process.
I ordered the Pura Vida Acai Bowl and my husband ordered the Kowabunga Smoothie. It was really good but the staff wasn't the friendliest. All in all I would go back again.

We were traveling through and made it just in time before they closed. Grabbed a few açaí bowls to go and spent around $50! Sadly, it was a complete waste. The texture was super runny, way too sweet, and honestly just not enjoyable at all. We ended up throwing them away. I really wanted to like it, but the quality was disappointing. Since we were just passing through, we didn’t have the option to return or ask for a fix. Definitely wouldn’t recommend based on our experience. If you’re into overpriced slush in a bowl, this place is for you. Otherwise, hard pass.

Whenever we visit Charleston, Playa Bowls is our go-to spot for breakfast! Their sweet cream iced coffee is absolutely delicious and the perfect pick-me-up. The Açaí Nutella bowl is a delightful blend of fruity sweetness and rich Nutella, making it a must-try. And let’s not forget the Mucho Mango bowl—it’s a tropical delight packed with juicy mango and pineapple that never fails to impress. The service is friendly and wonderful, adding to the overall experience. Seeing the same welcoming, friendly face is awesome! We genuinely love this place and eagerly anticipate our visits every time we’re in Charleston. Highly recommend!
