My 1st visit, even tho I live in NY I never been to any of their locations. My 1st visit happened in the Mt Pleasant location and it was a great 1st experience! The girls were super friendly and helpful in making me decide which option to go with! 10 out of 10

Best açaí in CHS! I’ve been several times since they opened and the smoothies and bowls are always fresh & delicious ? it’s a popular spot, especially in the warmer months, so order ahead if you’re in a hurry! I like the Nutella bowl but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!

Walked in and there was no line. I was greeted and ordered quickly. Cashier was nice. However, everything after that very underwhelming. After paying there was a 30 minute wait for my bowl. Not exaggerating. Not busy at all with 3 people working. For a place that only uses a blender, would think service would be way faster. The bowl itself wasn’t what I expected. I ordered the 8th Ave. The banana topping and granola was good.. but the açaí base wasn’t. I LOVE açaí bowls but this tasted off. For my first time trying Playa Bowl ever, I can’t say that I’m inclined to try again or this particular location. Maybe it was an off day, batch, and I need to try another base option.
