Every time we're near Rita's we pay it a visit because then our hometown of Chattanooga there are no Rita's. The Frozen custard Italian ice combo is killer

The custard. Is still just ok. I have had better. The gealti, I don't really care for the chunky fruit. I din t want to have to chew my cherry flavored Italian ice. Maybe I just do t get what it is supposed to be, but it's not something I crave. I would rather you be a Culver's with good vanilla custard. No frills.

There really is not service or atmosphere.

Went here on Sunday night to satisfy the something cold and sweet craving and it was perfect ?I got the dragonfruit flavor with some vanilla custard on top, it was amazing!I wish there was another Rita’s in Charleston! ?

Went to grab my wife and I some treats tonight. When I got in there, there was a line of about 8 customers. I noticed the only person behind the counter was the owner. I am unsure if he has a lack of staff or callouts for the night but he kept a great attitude the whole time and kept working hard even though I knew he was most likely stressed. Great ownership at this location and tasty treats each visit. Keep up the great work!

Rita's gelati taste a little different from anything I have ever had. The creamy flavor of the custard mixed with the sugary rush of the Italian ice sounds odd but is actually very enjoyable. My new favorite is the cotton candy. This location is fast and efficient. Service was friendly. The only drawback is no indoor seating. There is one small bench located outside.

Needed a good “pick me up” after a dental appointment. Can’t ask for anything better than Rita’s! It was a little chilly but who cares?? The Mint Chocolate Chip was perfect! Thanks!!

I was SO excited to see a Rita's back in the Charleston area! My family and I LOVE Rita's and have missed it terribly since the other locations closed several years ago. We drove over 45 minutes from North Charleston to not be greeted, not be given a half sincere "what do you want?" and to have my disabled son given dirty looks when his hand grazed that of the employee's when asked for a sample of a flavor. I am appalled that there is still an issue with inclusion in 2023, especially with a business. We left happy with our Rita's flavors but very sad and let down in EVERY other aspect. The team certainly needs much more training and a huge lesson in customer service. First impressions are so important and everlasting. We drove quite a bit, spent money and have declared we will not return. I am so sad that this was our first and last visit.

I am so glad that Rita’s opened in Charleston! Their Italian ice is hard to beat and I often find myself craving it. Now I can finally satisfy that craving! The owners are super kind and accommodating. I messaged asking about one of my favorite flavors and they made it for me the next day! Such a treat. ?
