Simply lovely. Friendly and attentive staff. Beautiful pastries and desserts. Quiche was tasty. But most importantly, properly prepared macaroons. Love love love.

BEWARE! Stopped in today for a late lunch and I have to say, incredibly disappointed! My bill was around $60 for two with tip included and got sick later this evening from the cured salmon panini. The ingredients are not fresh and the tomato bisque soup was so watery and tasteless. My stomach is so inflamed as I am writing this.
Not sure how this place got 5 star reviews??

I wish I could give negative stars — that’s how disappointing my experience was at this place. The service was honestly unacceptable. I wasn’t even greeted properly; my “Good morning” was completely ignored. They added cinnamon to my cappuccino (something I’ve never encountered before), and only offered to remake it after noticing I wasn’t drinking it.

When they finally remade it, they brought it in a to-go cup, even though I was dining in and had originally received a proper ceramic cup. To make matters worse, it was a large size, even though I had specifically ordered a small — I prefer a strong cappuccino, not a watered-down version that tastes like a latte.

We ended up leaving with our croissants, hoping to get a proper coffee elsewhere, but unfortunately we didn’t have enough time due to our schedule. So not only did we waste money, but also our time and morning — all because of poor service. I absolutely do not recommend this place. When we go out and spend our money, it’s to enjoy a good experience — not to be let down this badly.

Excellent croissants. Excellent sandwiches. Excellent crepes. I cannot comment on other food items as this is what I eat every time. It reminds me of my many trips to France. It's that good. The cafe around the corner is more highly rated and seems to be busier, but there is no comparison in terms of food quality.

I really want to love this place—honestly, the food is quite good. But every time I come, I’m reminded that great food alone isn’t enough.

There’s a consistent lack of attention to detail that makes the whole experience feel neglected. Dead leaves scattered across the outdoor tables and sidewalk (while every other nearby business manages to keep theirs clean), chipped plates and coffee mugs that I’ve had to ask to replace more than once, and recently, flies inside and even a roach crawling on the wall. These aren’t minor oversights—they signal a lack of pride in what should be a beautiful, thriving café.

This place has so much potential. With better leadership, more care, and basic cleanliness, it could easily be a standout in the area. Just look at Owl Bear Café around the corner—lines out the door. There’s no reason this café shouldn’t be operating at the same level.

I keep giving it another chance because I want to support it. But until things are cleaned up and taken seriously, I can’t keep coming back. I hope this is taken as encouragement to step things up, because this spot could be something really special.

Great coffee place. Atmosphere friendly and relaxing. Employees were great!

The pastries were ok; the made to order food was so unappetizing that we didn't finish it. Both the ingredients and execution were sub par. The galette was burnt and had grainy, unripe tomatoes and congealed cheese. The quiche was severely undercooked with raw dough on both the sides and bottom. The exterior was soft, as if it was microwaved, and the filling consistency and flavor were not good and did not resemble any quiche I've ever had. Also, a garnish of balsamic glaze and bruised parsley makes no sense with quiche.

Visited the morning of Sunday, May 18.

Cute little cafe with a great selection of baked goods and a light lunch menu. Unfortunately however the customer experience does not match the food. The young lady at the counter was clearly disappointed to see us when we arrived 30 minutes before closing. She informed us our order would need to be to go, before we even had a chance to speak and was very short with any answers about the menu or what we might need. Now, please don’t get me wrong - we did not mean to come that close to close… we were tourists in the area and not familiar with the hours. But her clear distaste for our mistake made for a terribly awkward visit and left a poor taste that will compel us not to return when we return to the area again in a month or so.

We ended up not making a purchase because the selection wasn't that great. It might be different on a different day.

It's a fabulous spot to wake up with a real croissant and a great cup.

We had a wonderful server who tried her best with dreadful ingredients. I ordered a chicken panini which was not edible. A dry chuck of chicken with no flavor and over powered by sour mustard. The pastries looked good but I'm afraid we won't be going back.

I love the crepes with fruit toppings.
