Really great bagel spot. I had never heard of wood fired bagels before and this was yummy. Crispy on the outside and soft in middle… tasty variety of many flavors. They have the wood oven right there in store and also have plenty of delicious coffee drinks available. The staff were friendly and we got our food quickly. We will be back.

Not your standard bagel shop with Yankee’s memorabilia on the walls, dirty self-serve coffee station and surly employees. The space was modern yet cozy (and clean), staff were friendly and accommodating and most importantly the food was delicious. A week later I’m still thinking about the rosemary olive oil bagel. Love that you can watch the bagels being baked in the wood-fired oven right behind the counter. I was visiting the area, so glad I found this place but bummed we don’t have one at home.

Loved the flavor of a wood fire bagel. I choose the rosemary olive oil bagel and scallion cream cheese. It was savory, and i enjoyed every bite!
Definitely would visit again if I'm in the area.

This place has some problems. It is fairly chaotic. It takes a long time to get served. We consistently have to send our food back for various reasons. The coffee is super. They had 8 employees and the garbage was over flowing. I think a manager is needed.

Never heard of this place but showed up on Google maps while I was finding a place to eat. Great tasting bagel with bacon egg and cheese added. Had a fresh latte made as well. Great place to stop to beat the crowds!

Many fake 5-star reviews from 'local guides.' The bagels are of poor quality—you can find better ones at the supermarket. Additionally, there is illegal and dangerous parking outside.

Food is good but the customer service is horrible. This is the second problem I have had there. Just got charged twice for something and they told me they couldn’t void it on the spot so told me to call back Tuesday and make sure they do it. What kind of establishment can’t refund you something right then and there for their mistake? Disappointed and won’t be returning.

Have had great bagel sandwiches here but 5$ for a buttered bagel with strawberry jam… with this as the outcome…. Outrageous. Quality control could be much better guys for your prices!

Spread Bagelry Mount Pleasant has some of the best bagels in the CHS area with a friendly staff to match! This location is PACKED on the weekends so I recommend you order ahead or prepare yourself for a long line and long wait time (since they make everything to order). They are also dog friendly :)!
