Sunsets Waterfont Dining- Downstairs

Came in today off the boat so we asked to sit outside. Most of the patio fans were broken. Calamari was all same size rings - looked like it came frozen and flash fried. Ahi tuna was grayish with canned oranges on top - inedible. The $22 sushi roll was ok but was supposed to have lobster inside that didn’t exist - it was only crab with tiny pieces of filet on top. Overall, really subpar for a $100 lunch.

Got seated then was not acknowledged for over 15 mins. Not even offered water in the middle of a heat wave. Also noticed staff vaping in the kitchen. This place is disgusting. Do not recommend

I rarely leave reviews, but wanted to make sure someone saved their time from dining here. The experience at this restaurant was the worst part of the group’s weekend. The night started off well as we had reservations and were seated immediately. However, it quickly took a turn. We ordered appetizers and it took over a hour for them to come out (including raw oysters). Some members of our group wanted steam oysters, but were told they were not offering that option for the night as it “takes too long” (we can only imagine). We sat for two hours without our meals. During this time, the manager came around and offered us drinks (which we politely declined as we needed food first). When the meals started coming out, they were not correct. It was shocking to see that once this was told, they were able to bring the same thing out within 5 minutes correctly. As time went by, the restaurant was about cleared out and we kept seeing other guests that were seated after us receive their meals before us. Some of us even ended up cancelling ours orders as we were so frustrated and tired of waiting. Our waitress informed us that the kitchen refused to make someone’s sushi roll when she was trying to help make light of the situation when someone was tired of waiting on it and asked for it to be cancelled. Our entire meal of over $400 was comped, but we would have rather received our food within a timely manner, paid for great service, and spent our money and time elsewhere.

Worst experience ever! Order your food at the bar only half of the food came out. Nothing was compensated half the table got their food free the other half did not again stay away unless you’re young and you wanna drink as for a family atmosphere horrible

Our experience at this place was disappointing. The service was fine but the food was not worth it. $29 for a fish basket that did not have a large portion at all $27 for a shrimp boil that was pitiful. No flavor and smallest portion of a seafood boil I’ve ever seen for $27?! Not to mention it came out missing sausage. The music was also way too loud and just didn’t make for a great experience. The best part about this was being on the water. We will not be going back…

I cannot recommend this place enough! Whether you’re sitting down for a meal, or looking for a place to host an event, look no further and reach out to Madison and her team. We dined in a few times, then decided to do our rehearsal dinner here a couple weeks ago and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. The service was top-notch and the food was phenomenal! We kept getting compliments on the food and atmosphere throughout the weekend. Madison was so helpful and communicative throughout the whole process - we are so thankful for what her and the Sunsets team put together!

Parking: Anyone getting upset about the parking should be upset with themselves for not being able to read. Blame yourself, not the establishment.

We had a large group event for our wedding rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks on the second floor and everything was perfect. The food (guests had their choice of steak frites, fish tacos, or pasta Florentine) and drinks were great, the staff was helpful and professional, and everyone loved the views. We worked with Madison to organize our event, and she made the whole process easy. We also love eating here for lunch and dinner. We would highly recommend Sunsets for dining in and for a large group event.

We hosted our wedding reception at Sunsets. Madison was FANTASTIC to work with! She went above and beyond to make sure our day was exactly how we envisioned it. Everything was set up beautifully and the night went off without a hitch. Highly recommend hosting any sort of event here! Thank you Madison (& staff) for everything!

Excellent dinner. Was out of the calamari so we tried the fried shrimp appetizer and it was a huge hit. Parking was a little expensive for the visit.
