The food was absolutely amazing! My co-worker and myself were in town from Colorado. And wanted good fish and chips. This place was recommended and did not disappoint. It was so fresh and everything cooked to perfection!

Ok, for starters, the place is small. Very small. 2 tables, 2 rows of bar style seating. Food comes out quick. Full fish and chips with a scotch egg. Fish is huge. Long and thick, it's filling. Breading is decent, not too thick, not too thin. Fries appear store cut, not bagged and frozen. Neither of these had any real flavor though. Filling, but bland. They figure out seasoning, they'll be a 5 star rating. The scotch egg was delicious. Sausage coating definitely had flavor, and the breading.Pros: portion of fish was very large and filling, scotch egg was goodCons: no flavor in fish or chips. Egg is too expensive for what it is. Either cut price by half or give 2 for the current price.

Service was fast, ordered full order of cod. Cod was 1/2 the size off the COD Father's and the fish was dry and over cooked. Fries were soggy and tartar sauce tasted like mayo. Not worth the $$.
Nicely done fish, chips and shrimp. Surprised at how small the place was. Mushed peas were good. Service was good. Fish was crunchy with the coating but the goto place for fish and chips is still

Fish and chips were fresh and delicious and the fish portion size was generous, though they definitely skimp on the tarter sauce ($2 charge to upgrade to an appropriately-sized amount for the fish). Eating area is pretty cramped and not very family (small children) friendly. Overall, we're happy we stopped by

What a great find in Mt P! This little place packs a punch when it comes to the fish n chips- some of the best I’ve ever had! And the scotch egg???? Amazing and cooked to perfection! Adam is so friendly, and the chef is amazing as well. Will be our new favorite.

Fabulous Fish & Chips. The fish is perfectly battered and fried and the tartar sauce is absolutely fabulous! Not a fan of 'The Queens Choice', but the fish and chips are definitely worth going back for. Prices are very reasonable as well.

Had the full order. Solid choice. Well done.Added an order of mushy pea fritters. Wow! Great stuff. And the pints of brew washed everything down well. They need a bigger place.
All amazing, fresh, crisp, and great value for a large portion! We ordered a fish sandwich, cod strips with chips, a scotch egg and mushy peas. All to go. The nice gentleman there cautioned us to eat it as soon as possible to keep it from losing its crisp. The sandwich was the best fish sandwich either of us have ever had. The fish was cooked perfectly, fresh and coated in a light crispy batter. The buttered bap topped it off perfectly. The cod strips were the same fish from the sandwich and delicious. The tartar sauce was also super tasty. Mushy peas were perfect. The scotch egg was the only one I've ever had that I actually liked. Ratio of egg, sausage and coating was perfect. The egg was perfectly soft boiled and not at all dry like the other ones I've had from other places. The order came up quick and there was literally nothing that could have been better. Loved it!

Just tried this place out tonight and it was so good!! I ordered the cod bites & chips, thinking my extremely picky 3 year old son and I could share, but he was scarfing so much down that we had to place another order. Food came quickly, tasted very fresh and was prepared perfectly. Staff was friendly and the prices are reasonable as well, especially for the area. Looking forward to going back again soon!

Truly a Brittish menu. Want to go back and try the Bangers and Nash. This trip was for fish & chippies! The Cod is perfectly cooked in a light breading and portions were large. The chippies are so-so, but that is how I usually feel about fries. The service is a bit slow . The indoor dinner is very limited - 3 or 4 small tables and a window bar. Outdoor seating is fine if the weather is cooperating as it was the evening we were there. Adam, who took our orders, ran the cash register, and delivered food to tables, was filled with personality and fun to chat with. Will go again!

This is THE neighborhood spot that doesn’t compare. The atmosphere is beyond compare(Adam is the BEST) the food is amazing (JP is beyond talented). The food speaks for itself but the people you meet are what sets the place apart! Come try it once you will get it! The BEST!
Kid-friendliness: Adam is so good with the kids!

Crispy battered Icelandic cod. Not greasy. Flavor is nothing but fresh. Tart tartar sauce. Delicious hot fries. Very friendly place. One missing star in the atmosphere category for the uncomfortable tin chairs which are everywhere right now.

Really, really great fish and chips! My husband is from England and I am from Canada. We both know fish and chips, have had it everywhere it is available around the world. That's why we drove to the Fish & Chippy because we had to keep up tradition. Fish is absolutely excellent. Big and thick fresh fish and chips are authentic, the real thing! Now when we want our fix of fish and chips we drive quite a distance to get there. We highly recommend. If fact, we are comprising a list of places to take our guests when they visit from out of town and this place is near the top of that list! Love it! It's also very clean. So try it! You will love it too!
