Great food, small venue with big flavor

Hands down one of the BEST meals we’ve ever had in the highly competitive Charleston food scene. Intimate setting- warm ambiance with kind service and over the top hospitality. Food excellently executed and wonderfully seasoned - could not really think of a way to improve the flavor of this ragu and the fish stew as well! Chef Greg and his wife Tara were so gracious- will return just as soon as we can

This is one of my favourite places in Charleston. Amazing food and wine.

The food at this restaurant was amazing! The menu is limited, only about 5 appetizers and 5 entrees total, but the quality is top notch--you won't be disappointed. Had the halibut with black lentils, golden beets, and cashews, and it was the best grilled fish I've had in a while. Their sauce was an explosion of flavors and the fish was thick cut, juicy, done perfectly. Didn't get a drink but they have a long list of alcoholic beverages (wine, cocktails, spirits, etc)--the old fashioned that a neighboring customer ordered looked wonderful. Minor warning: this place is small, as in 10 seats at the bar, maybe 4 tables indoors, and 1 or 2 tables outdoors. Reservation is highly recommended.

The food was amazing. The Gnocchi with a duck, the fish dip, flounder and risotto with the shrimps! Well seasoned. Great chef behind all the dishes for sure . Everyone was happy. Will definitely go back there. Great wine and service.No photos this time ?

One of the better meals we have had in Charleston. Clearly a local spot, and a bit of a hidden gem. Love that the menu is small and executed with care. Nice wine selection, although not much in terms of liquor.

Quaint & Swank, bring a fine lady and don't miss on the Mongers choice. (and btw who has a Monger anymore, for that reason alone you've got to go!)

We absolutely loved everything about this place. The service was wonderful, they accommodated us even though we did not have reservations. The food was amazing! The ambiance was top class. This is our favorite place in Charleston now.

Lovely interior and music, We sat in the window seat looking out on a pretty street ready for a great meal. Our disappointments were: 1) waited 50 minutes before our food came, 2) No bread at the table, not on the menu either, 3) chairs were hard and small for a long evening, 4) felt like we had to barge into the server's attention, we needed checking on, 5) having to ask for and pay for bread and a second coke made the whole experience feel tight & stingey, not generous & abundant.What we liked: flavors, yummy oyster sauce and horseradish, the scallops and salmon dishes were complex and exotic; the atmosphere was relaxing and aestheticly pleasing. We won't go back, though.
