The establishment's proprietors exhibit a notable lack of professionalism, and the absence of air conditioning in the year 2024 is simply unacceptable. If the current management is incapable of operating the establishment in a satisfactory manner, it would be advisable to transfer ownership to a more capable entity.
We have been visiting the southern for over a decade, and it remains one of the last few great Mt P dives with an excellent kitchen. The staff has always been amazing and attentive, even when things get a little wild late night. The fresh squeezed grapefruit and orange drinks are some of the cheapest in town, and they make one of the best cheesesteaks in the area.
