My coffee place was closed so I came here to get a vanilla latte and something for breakfast on my way to work. Sandwich was super disappointing. It was a pile of ham and Swiss on the flattest microwaved croissant. Nothing spectacular about it. Coffee didn’t have much of a vanilla flavoring to it and upon inspection after I drank almost half of it opened it to find black stuff floating all in it. Didn’t look like coffee grounds. I threw the rest of it away. $17 and some change and I tipped 15%. So almost $20 for a mediocre sandwich and coffee. Never again.

I’ve loved this place for years and am always looking for an excuse to go. The staff is always super kind and friendly. It’s a great spot to do work, meet up with people, or just get a really great cup of coffee! The gluten free scones are also really delicious.
Janelle and the whole team are always a bright spot in my day. They are passionate about making every person feel at home when you walk through the doors. The coffee is always hot, delicious, and there are always fun new flavors to try so you can have your favorite drink or try something new. So good to see a family owned coffee shop thriving in Mt Pleasant! Iced Matcha Latte was on point! I had the vanilla. Really good spot to sit down, have a cup, and get some work done on the computer. Good vibes

95 percent of the staff is super nice, helpful, and sweet. There's just one, the blonde curly haired lady who is a bit on the heavy side that is rude and doesn't ever acknowledge my husband when he thanks her for a drink. Like every time. It's happened over 4-5 times. She completely dismisses him like he's done something to upset her, we don't really know. He says thanks, she stares at him, no smile, no acknowledgment, and just turns away. Every single time. She makes my drinks barely warm, doesn’t ever sweeten his, and it feels intentional because no one else does this. We have been coming here for years and she really just sucks to the point we deliberately try to not come on Saturdays because of her. I guess we will definitely have to continue to do that to avoid her. Drinks and staff are usually great when she's not there.
This is our favorite local shop! We come here all the time to do work and for an afternoon treat. The staff is always so sweet and it’s a really nice location!
