Staff very friendly, very knowledgeable order two breakfasts. My wife’s breakfast came out sausage, overcook, and dry a really great server would’ve noticed this and never allow this to come to the table my coffee cup had lipstick on it. atmosphere was great nice vibe obviously this place is known for it. Drinks mimosas bloody Mary’s bartending staff on top of their game but the food, which is good not great.

The vibe here is okay but really has that chain restaurant ambiance. Servers and manager were nice, but the food was pretty meh.

Crab cake eggs benedict was delicious, though is small portion wise so would go with the full meal. Grits were a bit grainy. Beignets were great just wish we had more jam!

We stopped at the Mt. Pleasant location on our way to Sullivan's Island for a brisk morning walk thinking a hot breakfast was a good idea on a cold morning. We tend to steer clear of chains on vacation, but this is one we don't have in Texas and, based on reviews, wanted to try. The lattes were yummy. The service was warm and welcoming. Mister loved his corned beef and hash with eggs, but his side of sausage gravy was forgotten. We didn't fuss.
I got the chicken friend chicken biscuit, which comes with a side of chicken gravy. The gravy was like liquid salt with a touch of chicken flavor. I would suggest getting it with sausage gravy instead. I also got the fresh fruit bowl. The blueberries, strawberries, and honeydew were perfect. The cantaloupe was off, so I didn't eat it.
Not the best breakfast we had on the trip, but not bad either. Definitely family friendly, on the wallet and in the atmosphere.

Was a little disappointed in their version of "southern" fare. Maybe it was just the Southern Coastal flare that didn't resonate. The beigents were great, not New Orleans great, but "tasty fried dough and powdered sugar with the robust coffee" great. The cheese grits and sausage gravy were not southern. We prefer the cheese melted into the grits, and the gravy lacked any sausage flavor, almost had a chiwder taste. The Meeting street Benny with crab was a splurge, and I was disappointed with the crab prep, too much breading. I prefer a MD lump crab. Probably should have stuck to my first choice of the peach stuffed french toast... Not a bad concept for today's younger patrons, over all it didn't do it for us.

Ordered a couple of sandwiches to go and food was good, nevertheless, the hostess seemed to be bothered by having to take a takeout order. Not impressed by that first impression of the restaurant.

Glad they let you dine outside with your dog! I enjoyed the shrimp and grits, but more importantly, the side of fried oysters. For only $9, they give you six large, delicious oysters.
