I ate at this restaurant once last year and had a great experience. However, upon returning this year, something must have changed. We were seated outside for probably 15 minutes and no waitstaff ever came to acknowledge us. Several walked by and made eye contact, but continued to do other tasks. We ended up leaving because we were hungry and did not want to wait any longer. Another disappointing factor of this experience was that the chicken with sweet tea sauce is no longer on the menu!

We were visiting the area and several friends recommended that we go to Toast for brunch so expectations were pretty high! Boy , was it a disappointment !My wife ordered the Corned Beef Hash with two poached eggs, grits, toast and a Bloody Mary. I ordered the Peach “STUFFED “French Toast and Fried Green Tomatoes appetizer. The restaurant wasn’t very busy and our hosts seated us immediately, the front of the house staff was gathered in the rear section and were welcoming. Our server was very nice and attentive and recommended the dishes we eventually ordered .Our order came and almost every item we ordered was uneventful:1.) the Corned Beef Hash and eggs consisted of chopped brisket which was very crispy ( like bacon)and VERY salty, 2.) the Peach STUFFED French Toast had 4 slices of canned peaches in syrup on a 4” block of battered toast, 3.) the Fried Green Tomatoes were fine with the pimento cheese and balsamic vinegar , 4.) and the Bloody Mary would have been perfect if I was planning on getting blitzed for brunch! The okra and 3 olive garnish was nice and the presentation was appreciated, we just would like more of the Bloody Mary mix and not a pint of vodka. $12 for this specific drink would have been a bargain if we were at a college dive bar!The total bill for this adventure, including the tip was $89.03.We didn’t mind paying more to eat at a nice place, in a nice , safe , high-traffic centralized location. We understand that you have overhead.Your service is great, your products just need to at least look and taste like you give a s$&t!There are countless other dining options available in the area and the output has to be significantly better than an overpriced Waffle House.

Stopped by on the way to the beach with my friends and we fell in LOVE!! The snickerdoodle latte is wonderful iced, I mean like I had to hold myself back from chugging, it was so good! My friends and I all got an omelet and they were delicious. I had the Magnolia Roasted Veggie omelet and I highly recommend. Im gluten free and the options here were decent and made me happy.

West Ashley location was good. We had a nice breakfast on a Saturday morning. Mt Pleasant location, not so good. Waitress okay. Food, not as good...just not impressed.

The whole experience was terrible. The crab cakes weren't cooked all the way. Sent them back and they just threw them back in the grease. Salad was rotten. Grilled cheese wasnt melted.. just a brick of cheese in-between toast. Couldnt eat the food. After letting them know how underwhelming it all was I was still charged full price and was offered hard beignets as a comp. Which also werent edible. Dont waste your time.

We enjoy having breakfast at Toast a few times a month. We just tried the one on Coleman Blvd. All of my breakfast was luke warm, if that. The kitchen is kinda set up like an open concept kitchen, so you can see the staff. I watched a cook on the line, eat breakfast, behind the grill, while preparing food. Then i watched a waitress use her hands to portion out breakfast potatoes onto someones plate, THEN she used her hand to pick out a few potatoes for her to eat and she popped them in her mouth and picked up some plates to deliver to customers. These 2 major DHEC violations are the quickest way to get someone sick.

So disappointing! Food was cold (twice) and epically disappointing for price. My drink was good, as was our server. Gave us a 20 % discount—pathetic—Waffle House much superior. Don’t waste your money! Manager barely cared that there was an issue.

Breakfast food favorite! Andrew was our server. Not only was he personable, he gave great recommendations!!! Very prompt service too. Absolutely loved the Blood Marys! We had the Classic and the Diablo. The corned beef with eggs was amazing and the beignets were delicious with the fruit compote. I would definitely recommend a brunch or breakfast. The food was fantastic!!

We had to ask for refill on coffee and we were the only ones in the restaurant for the first 30 minutes there. The waitress kept complaining that the menu was new and the hand held ordering device she was using was confusing. The food was ok but nothing special.

Took my wife and daughter in for valentine breakfast after reading reviews, service was not good we were thinking about leaving, but placed our order, food wasn’t good at all none of us finished after a few bites, my daughters chicken and waffle made her sick, my wife had 2 bites and quit eating hers, my corn beef hash and eggs , was not corn beef, eggs were way over cooked, the biscuits were bricks, just all around disgusting, and there prices are high so we thought it would be good, but we were very disappointed, and we saw on the Waffle House type menu, a Bloody Mary was $36 we had a good laugh about that !! Do not recommend this place!! Absolutely disgusting!!!!
