Staying in the area for several days from western New York. I was driving down the road and saw Toni’s Pizza and decided to try it. Went on line and ordered a Mediterranean pizza. It was ready on time, friendly staff and the pizza was delicious with generous toppings. Taking a chance on a place I knew nothing about and scored big! If I’m in the area long enough I will certainly go back.

This is the best pizza in Mount Pleasant! The crust is incredible (thick, almost like focaccia) and it has tons of toppings. The servers have all been fantastic and we keep coming back frequently.

Great vegan pizza with vegan cheese!

I happen to be in the area and gave them a shot. Glad I did! Their vegan cheese is good enough but the star of the show is the Detroit style crust. It’s crispy and soft and lots of flavor!

I don’t think you can customize or build your own, which is a bummer.

Just incredible. We make it a point to stop here any time we’re around Mt Pleasant. One of the best pizzas in the country.

We were at Shipyard Park for a softball tournament on the weekend of 9/13/25. As we wrapped up our games for the day, it was about 3:45pm. I decided to try and find a place for a large portion of our team to eat together. Toni’s was my first and last call.

Sue answered the phone on the 2nd ring. I told her what I had going on. She took my number and told me she’d talk to Toni, to make sure she could accommodate our party of 25-30 people.

Within 20 minutes I received a call-back. We locked in the reservation with a final head-count.

Most of us arrived at 5:35 for our 6:00pm reservation. They welcomed us in (instead of being aggravated at our party size). We waited on everyone to show up. They essentially gave us the entire right side of the restaurant, which was more than enough room.

Service was fast. Got to meet Sue. We had the best waitstaff I’ve probably ever had. The food was great. Some of the best deep dish pizza I’ve ever tasted, if not the best pizza period. Absolutely top notch food / prices / customer service, in no particular order.

To the owner and crew at Toni’s in Charleston, the Surry Cyclones Softball organization from Pilot Mountain, NC, thanks you! And we will be back!!

We are from out of town but the staff made us feel like we were right at home. Pizza was delicious. We split a bbq chicken and Hawaiian. So good, I lived the addition of the sweet and sour sauce to the Hawaiian.

I am a huge fan of Detroit style pizza, but it's hard to find in South Carolina. In a Google search, Toni's Detroit Style Pizza came up. It's an hour and a half away so on our trip to Charleston we had to stop. I'm in heaven! The crust was perfect, & the sauce & toppings were delicious. A must stop for anyone who loves a thick crust pizza.
