Was so looking forward to this reservation but left a bit disappointed. Service was pretty good, but the food was just okay. It was good, just not outstanding. The table was beautifully set but the wall our table was pushed up against had food splatters all over it. Overall not an impressive evening.

Lobster Deviled Eggs and the Seafood Platter were delicious we'll be back!!! My dining companions had the Scallops, Mussels and the Salad Entree ... all were fabulous I can't wait to try more plus don't let 'salad' fool you that was an amazing seafood delight!

The food was some of the best I have ever had. We did fish of the day, the whole fish platter, & the seafood platter. All were excellent. The restaurant looks as if it is a repurposed gas station. Atmosphere is the weakest link, but still nicely done. All is irrelevant! The food & staff shine through. If in the area, GO!!

Ate her twice during our trip to Charleston, and recommend it to anyone. Starting with great she crab soup through a good selection of drinks, appetizers and entrees, we thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. The mussels were excellent, and the seafood platter is a welcome change from commercial fried fare.

Upscale bar food. The menu is cute and has several interesting items. Lobster deviled eggs were not bad but were missing something. Next up steak but it was smothered in brown gravy that tasted like a McCormick grocery store $1 purchase. Follow up with a Mahi and green beans that were definitely frozen before they were served. You can always tell in green beans and the fish was soggy. I told the manager who tried to tell me they get things fresh daily. Then someone please explain why my fish was soggy and cold in the middle. I was very underwhelmed and paid close to $100 for what was just lack luster.

When we arrived at the location after making a 6pm reservation we found the parking in back to be small under 20 spaces, but we found a spot right away. When entering the establishment it had good signage leading us to the front door. We were greeted at the door and immediately seated. There were about 20 people inside which gave a slight pause wondering if this place was a dive or not, they were not busy at the time. We were immediately attended to by Maddie who was very personable and attentive. She provided great details for the nights menu specials. She was very warm and even asked what we had in mind for what we wanted. She offered up her favorites as well as making suggestions for us. We finally ordered the starter lobster, a glass of wine and our main courses which was lobster and grits and the seafood platter. Every item brought out came quickly and was plated elegantly. The lobster and grits were very meaty, sweet and savory with an amazing bacon flavor swimming in a rich creamy sauce. The seafood platter with lobster tail, shrimp and grits and scallops were perfect and tasted amazing. We also tried the she-crab soup, which was our third restaurant trying this dish and it was hands down the best, very well done. We were very impressed with every aspect of this amazing dining experience that you would not want to miss out on while visiting Charleston. If we could give it 10 stars we would!

This is a lovely upscale restaurant. The staff was attentive and friendly. I had the scallops which were delicious. Probably the best I've ever had. They were tender, flavorful and grit free.
